A lot of times I wish that Toryama hadn't been quite as visual with his sexual humor in early Dragoball. I have like 9 cousins under the age of seven and I would love to be able to share the series with them (and with my own kids when I get to that point) but I don't know how to let them watch the first few episodes of the series without some issues coming up with them and their parents.

I guess that those types of things are a little more accepted in Japan but I just see it as something that wasn't totally necessary.

I guess I could just rip the episodes and make edited versions of everything!

I would personally just have them watch DBZ first. While Dragonball is my favorite of the 3 series', I would have been more interested in DBZ when I was little.

Being a young(American) boy, I would have prefered DBZ over Dragonball because it was more action oriented.

This is a little sad in some ways. Then again me and my thing...is probably the same in terms of sadness. Taima wasn't somthing one should have the kind of interest that I have...in somthing that makes you stupid. We all have our things that we are into that arn't someone else's thing. The world goes round and round.

The pirate boat pic is awesome and fits the kind of "not adult and not kids stuff" that is just right.

This topic reminds me of one US Jump interview Toriyama had with some Japanese extreme sports brothers, where they said he looked like Senbei and he replied he was told he was almost or just as perverted as Senbei.
