Oh wow, this is just amzing news for everyone! xD I'm so looking forward to seeing this when it comes out, you know something, they were so tight on security that they knew so many people wanted to see these specials (especially Dragon Ball). I'm just so glad that they decided to stream these! :D

Since they say on the site those who couldn't come because they don't live in Japan, I'm pretty sure, the specials will be available outside of Japan too..
Anyways, I'll be watching the One Piece special too but that third one...I'm not so sure..

Yeah, I won't be letting them install their crap on my computer :/ Plus I use a mac.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

What browser does it say you need?

Yeah, the Raudo been around since Toriyama's first submission (Awawa World) to a manga publisher. It was never published, but lately they've been popping up in everything he does:

-Neko Majin Ga Iru 2 stars them as the villains.
-Neko Majin Z2 has a Raudo cameo (as Thunderbolt's only fan other than Kid and Z).
-Toccio The Angel.
-Something else I can't remember.
-They are rumored to be the Yardrat race designed by Toriyama for the upcoming DBO (at the very least they are definitely IN the DBO).
-Now the new DB special.

This is some really great news! Looking forward to four things this November: Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2, Thanksgiving and the new Dragonball special.

I'm wondering how they're going to stream this...hopefully with a high quality web player and not just some poorly encoded flash video.

The character designs that they have upconfirm Wasted Wisher's design sheets as official...not that I ever doubted their validity...seriously I didn't.

If they translated their manga, they'll probably sub the anime too.

Is there anyway to save streaming videofiles?

There is software out there that lets you capture whatever is going on on your screen, and from there you can crop around the actuall video. Some web players can have the videos downloaded too, but we don't know what kind of player this will be showed with. Either way, it is possible to record it...somehow...I'm pretty sure.

If they're streaming it in FLV, it's absurdly simple to download the file, and re-encode it to an Mpeg.

Anyway, this is fantastic news!, I never thought it would be Toei coming through for us!

So is the character's name Table or Tarble? =/

Also with the English site, I'm actually surprised they spelt "B-o-o" instead of "B-u-u"

Anyway, as for the news...I can't watch to watch it. There probably won't be subs, but I couldn't care less :P

Man, I won't be surprised if their servers crash. I am so excited-especially because there is a lot of Goten and Trunks in this!

As for the pictures looking "Flashish", I think it looks pretty good. Toei utilizes the program RETAS Pro HD, which draws in vectors like flash. They are similar, but the quality in RETAS makes for some gorgeous animation.....if it's animated well.

And if there is no other way, there is still Camtasia or something like that to just record it while watching :P
I am curious whether we'll see subtitles or not and in which languages they will be - for there are french and german website versions as well O_o
But even with no subtitles I'm gonna watch that thing for sure :D

EDIT:
Gozar: I think the name is spelled Tarble from what i have read everywhere...

If they don't release a DVD for this I'll be heartbroken.

ターブル would be Tarble. タブル would be Table. Since it's written as ターブル, it should be translated as Tarble.

As for Boo, it's not surprising. Japan's used both Majin Buu and Majin Boo. Hell, they've used a crap load of different spellings for other characters. Freeza, for whatever reason, has been getting his named spelled as Frieza.

Well, it makes a lot more sense. They also called Kame Sennin "Kame Sennin" instead of "Pleonasm Pleonasm".

It's not like there are rules for this. ターブル could just as well be "Turbur", really...
But both the character sheets and Jumpland call him "Tarble", so...

"Whatever reason"? The US version is to blame for that one. Same thing for "Buu".

Probably though, no existing software that can be used to download streaming content, would be compatible with the Jump browser.. :(

I have software to screen-capture motion picture,, but the CPU on my comp ain't the greatest.

Can hardly wait to see it!!
