Is that me or does that kid remind me of one of those orphans Gohan met after running away from Piccolo's training in the wilderness.?

He looks more like Rom. AKA Random Orphan #1.

Piegero looks even more generic, if you can believe it.

Well, Pigero does give off a "Yamcha" vibe, in my opinion.

Dr. Brief, yeah it's what he's called. But we don't know if that's his first name, a surname, a nickname or something else. I'm also pretty sure one of the daizenshu's states that surnames have fallen out of fashion in the Dragon World.

Videl also tells Gohan that most people have stopped using family names; that's what made her sure that Son Goku was Gohan's dad.

Personally, I like the idea of Briefs as a family name, but that's just my personal canon and not official at all.

Videl actually told us that when she deduced who Gohan's dad was that surnames were very rare. I suppose most people in the Dragon World just don't have 'em.
