Well I just remembered some violence in the later parts of the Daimaoh arc and I know they 'cleaned up' Yamucha's wound Dr. Gero gave him so I was thinking they'd do that here.

Meh maybe I'll just wait until the desiccation comes along on here.
Be grateful the filler in Dragon Ball doesn't suck like the 3rd arc of Rurouni Kenshin.

Man, it's going to be like a Harry Potter book!

I probably won't get this, simply because I like the idea of each volume having it's own "book", if you get what I mean.

Think this may cost more?

Yeah, I'm like that.

I'm considering getting the Rurouni Kenshin ones, but I'm leaning more towards no.

And definitely not for Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.

I know that the Kenshin ones fixed a few typos that were in the smaller volumes. But since I have that entire series, not getting them.

Know pretty much nothing about the series, other than there's a guy with a catchphrase, but heard the Fushugi Yugi ones that just came out are pretty good too.

Not according to Amazon. Of course, they also say it's only 200 pages (more like 700). I know they guarantee the price for pre-orders, so that's something to consider.

This is a sweet deal here, I have already have DBZVizBG vol 01 and DBVizbig vol 01. The final dbz will have four volume's.
90% of dragonball fans detest dragonballgt. If you are one of the 10% who like GT, post this in your signature.

Read my DBAF fanfic, it has terrible writing the first few chapters but I improve in later ones, http://anime.myfavoritegames.com/creative-corner/fanworks-library/101320-dragonballaf.html

The VizBigs as a product line in general are real nice... every series they've done other than DB/DBZ are uncut to my knowledge.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

Why is anybody interested in these clunkers? It's cheaper to get the Tankoubon boxsets.

Well, the VIZBIG do have better print quality and some color chapters.

Not to mention bigger pages.

And they're more durable. Some of my older smaller manga in that style are starting to fall apart, while my VizBigs show very consistent resistance to wear.

To be fair, aren't VizBig very new? I think they started releasing them late 2007, early 2008. Only natural they'd be in good shape.

I know what you're saying, but I mean even early wear is pretty low. I mean, after I first read one of the smaller books, I tend to have a fairly well-worn spine. The VizBigs seem to be taking a far igger beating early on.
