The way of the combination they made it work was fantastic, graphics looked great, gameplay and its controls were easy to get along with.

If only anime games were on PC they'd all be much better.

SaiyanIsland put up an article saying that the Future Warrior is sent to key points in the history of Dragon Ball using a time vault located in a town led by Trunks, with a scan similar to previous ones.

Yes, they apparently did! And even wrote our name this time! :)

Though I don't know why they insist on blowing up the images. It's not like you see anything extra that way.

And it's not a "scan" that was "released". Eh.

V-Jump around the 21st. They promised to reveal a secret of the Future Warrior.

Unless the character's are excessively constrained to where they are able to freely go.One thing I don't understand about the DBZ fans who get to ask these questions is, why do they seem to forget all the titles before the most recent one at a given time? All I hear is "BoZ was a disappointment, how can you reassure us?" Raging Blast 2 was a disappointment (for me) goddamnit, and XV seems to be emulating the kind of style that Tenkaichi and RB both shared, so would it not give more sense to compare to those? If I were one of those giving an interview, I'd have asked "So it seems you (DIMPS) have taken over from Spike, as you are making a similar (in a very broad sense) styled game. How does XV compare to, say, Raging Blast 2 in terms of depth and the general experience? What are you doing different?" All I can see are the same old wasted questions "How many characters?" "GT?" "Cmolpete sotry mode plz?" "BoZ was terrible derp", these do not really tell us anything interesting about the game. Why compare to the worst of a generation? We have eyes to see, XV is NOTHING like BoZ despite what the seven year olds on Youtube might tell you. Compare with titles on the same or, in this case, nearest level below.
What really bugs me within this issue is why they never ask Dimps what they are taking from THEIR older games and how they're going to rework them for XV's attempt at 3D. They didn't make Tenkaichi, they had no hand in Raging blast whatsoever, how can the interviewers ask them to compare their game to something they most likely never even played themselves? Why is Spike the default? Why even bother mentioning crappy games to compare, instead of telling them what GOOD things to take out of their BETTER games and not just assume that Tenkaichi is the only formula of gameplay possible.

My feelings exactly, the Saiyans transformations had this thing were they had the mouth open for a lot of time with no voice and it really irked me.
Not to mention that weird bobble-head trembling the character bodies had when trying to transform. Though outside of BT3 Spike has never made the Super Saiyan transformations look natural let alone accurate in Raging Blast games.

So for the longest time, this game will actually have no difference aside from text between the NA and JP versions?

And I ask again, besides graphics, no gameplay features exclusive to the PS4/XOne versions right?

You're forgetting one thing that the international releases of Dragon Ball games for the home consoles always lack, and for PS3/PS4 it might have exclusive content though if they gave exclusive content to XO that'd be a miracle.

Microsoft seems to want to regain their lost Xbox customers after the tragic E3 of 2013 so here's what they could make exclusive for the XO version:

- DLC story mode of Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball GT
- Playable characters of Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball GT
- Super Saiyan God Goku, Vegeta, Gogeta (it'd be cool to have for the looks) and Veggeto (same as Gogeta)
- Allow to use the Avatars as fighters with customisation (kinda like the Mii Fighters on Smash 4)
- The original soundtrack synthesised by Shunsuke Kikuchi

That last one would definitely piss off the PlayStation audience and I'm sure Bandai wouldn't want that.

If the music Dimps are making for this game is anything like the Yamamoto music from their old games then I'd take it over Kikuchi any day.

I dunno, all the 3D games are a better experience with the anime music (specially BoZ, it's god-like when playing with it) as opposed to the 2D games where the anime music doesn't fit as much (and believe me I tried). Still want J-Stars costumization and let me replace every track in the game.

I honestly doubt they're going to use Yamamoto's music for the release game if they know they can't. Its probably just placeholder songs they put there. If they couldnt even give us the old Budokai tracks then I dont think they'd give us Burst Limit's. I'm glad they're going of scratch but hope they don't use the composer Spike uses, I can't stand the squeally high-pitched guitar riffs.

Agreed.

Tenkaichi/RB are a lot more fun played with Kikuchi's music as it makes the game work better, but when I tried the same with Burst Limit on my 360 it just didn't give the same experience so I went back to Yamamoto.

They're including newly composed not the synthesised Kikuchi BGMs that Japan gets per each new release of DBZ games (except the Budokai/BL/IW games).

I remember them saying this also includes Japan in the interview as well. Unless you have another source that states otherwise.

Seeing how this is a 3D fighting game and that Kikuchi's score is usually used for games such as this it wouldn't surprise anyone that at the last minute they would feature it.

2D/2.5D - by Dimps
Budokai 1 - nope
Budokai 2 - nope
Budokai 3 - nope
Shin Budokai 1 - nope
Shin Budokai 2 - nope
Infinite World - nope
Burst Limit - nope

3D - by Spike, Artdink and Dimps
Tenkaichi 1 - check
Tenkaichi 2 - check
Tenkaichi 3 - check
Tenkaichi Tag Team - nope (it was a low budget game on a dying handheld so they didn't bother featuring it here)
Raging Blast 1 - check
Raging Blast 2 - check
Ultimate Blast - check
Battle of Z - check
Xenoverse - ? (possibly)

It wouldn't be a surprise if the Japanese version does have the anime soundtrack.

However, it is a surprise if they change their mind at the last minute in order to feature the anime music for the Japanese version. This would mean the JP version won't get the new stuff they're trying out with the music score this time. This would also mean they'd be lying for this interview.

While anything is possible, I just can't see the chances of that happening to be very high at all. Not to mention this is the first DB game on a gen 8 console, so them trying something new (as they said) is entirely plausible

We'll find out eventually, but until then, I'll take their word for it.
By the way, of the list of games you just mentioned, I still think Tenkaichi 3/Sparking Meteor was the best one, and I imported it as well...
