While SSJ2-tier may be tad bit of a stretch, Cell Games MSSJ level doesn't seem far-fetched at all. The Namekian was likely only a few notches below Cell Jr. during their showdown against the biological android, so another seven plus years of training could have easily sufficed in pushing him up to a MSSJ-tier in my opinion.Battousai wrote:Piccolo is actually my favorite character. I do believe he's not far from SSJ2 level, since he's always training.
I do think he has a change against Buu, since he lost much of his power when Evil Buu was "released" from him.
Same to Dabura, he's weaker than a SSJ2, and since I believe Piccolo he's not far from that level, it would be an interesting fight.
People automatically speculate that Piccolo regressed substantially because he was unable to trump some villain that SSJ Gohan (FnF) casually one-shotted. While it's nearly impossible to pinpoint where exactly each character stands in terms of power, I feel it's a bit preposterous to nonchalantly conclude that Gohan fell below his Cell-busting counterpart simply because there was one brief scene of him doubting his own ability to go SSJ.
If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say the track suit-sporting warrior is more or less in the same realm of power as his Z-Sword-wielding self; on the lower end of that spectrum, MSSJ (Cell Games) could very well be a possibility as well. To flat out say that he's been reduced to garbage without irrefutable evidence, and then toss Piccolo into that same category...yeah, not a notion that I stand behind. Furthermore, the form Gohan assumed when he slammed his fist into Shisami looked heck of a lot like Super Saiyan 2; his hair was spiked straight up versus rocking that unkempt look his regular Super Saiyan transformation was originally known for.
I've always deciphered the whole thing about SSJ2 and SSJ3 being discontinued as the terms themselves no longer being utilized while the physical characteristics of the form (hair, power, lightning, etc) get lumped in as regular Super Saiyan. Then again, who knows how that'll all turn out.
Spopovich definitely falls into the category of inconsistent durability; despite his seemingly fragile exterior, he was shown pulling through a horrific injury.Polyphase Avatron wrote:I just thought of one: Ox King vs. Majin Spopovich
IMO Ox King would win easily but I want to see what you guys think.
The amount of damage that Videl was able to dish out tells me that the brutish Majin hasn't received a mind-boggling boost by any stretch. That said, his ability to survive potentially fatal blows could go a long way against an opponent like Ox King in my opinion.
When all is said and done, I'd say Chi Chi's colossal beast of a father has a pretty good chance of snagging victory, as long as he goes full force right from the get-go.
