Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

Is this accurate? Can you explain what it means?

It's accurate. 無気の気 is (super literally) "nothingness-ki ki".
It's like an airy/nonexistent ki, a ki-less ki, a ki that isn't ki at the same time, etc. Herms kinda touched on it here.

Vegeta's sensing something, but can't describe what that something is.

Presumably Whis has God Ki, so I wonder if being part of the Super Saiyan God Ritual has made the power of God rub off on all those who took part but it's just dormant and Vegeta suddenly sensing Whis's "Nothingness Ki" might be his first instance of tapping into it.

Maintaining a list like this is a lot of work, and less urgent now than it used to be.
I'm sure Herms will update whenever he finds the time.

Please remember that this thread is not actually a part of the main website, and is something done in yet another category of spare time from the overall spare time we have (separate from the main website's work, which ITSELF is all something we do in our spare time!) Quoting myself from earlier in the thread:

Thank you two! That helped me clearing up some confused ideas about Super Saiyan God's stuff! I'm glad to have read those notes.

Minute: 15
Context: Before attacking, Galbi sizes up Mister Satan.
Galbi: "Just as I'd expect of Earth's mightiest martial artist... I can't sense his ki at all, and at first glance, he even appears to be wide open!"
Significance: Shows that this strange alien race knows all about "ki", and can presumably utilize it (this is rarer than you might think; not only do thugs like Freeza or the Saiyans avoid the term "ki" in favor of "battle power", but even the Namekians don't use it much).
Super Satan confirmed to have god-ki.
Minute: 19
Context: Vegeta describes Bulma's favorite food, instant ramen.
Vegeta: "A favorite food that she can't go a week without eating at least once!"
Significance: Ramen is quite popular in Japan, and their instant ramen is generally quite a step up from the kind you can buy in Western grocery stores. A disturbing amount of people seem to think that this was a Naruto reference.
For the richest woman on Earth to eat ramen every week, that must be damn good.

Or Bulma is just an engineer nerd holed up in lab and just eats what is convenient. Which is the stereotype I went to.

Herms wrote: Significance: Kuririn asks to physically feel Goku's strength, rather than simply sensing it for himself. Noted simply because I found it interesting. A possible tie-in to how Kuririn is the first to realize how strong Perfect Cell truly is thanks to getting kicked by him? Also, Fukuro in One Piece has a similar trick of measuring someone's power by letting them beat him up.
I forgot about that. Would be an interesting callback..

Seriously? Do these people think Naruto came up with ramen being popular?

Really loving these slice of life episodes. 17 was great, really looking foward to 18, Frieza's forces and Champa being introduced!

Something I found interesting was how (at least a translation described) they talked about Pan being able to hold her head up on her own already. This could be an early sign of her future fighting ability, and is definitely a result from being a quarter Saiyan.

That's a literal translation of a standard Japanese way of saying that a baby is a bit older/not a compete newborn. Nothing to do with fighting or being part Saiyan.

Edit: Whoops, actually I guess people say that in English too. Still, probably nothing to do with fighting or her being part Saiyan. Seems standard-issue Earth babies usually are able to hold their heads up after about a month following birth, so Pan should be right on schedule. No hint that her alien genes or fighting talent are helping in that regard.

Minute: 19
Context: Goten and Gohan want Chi-Chi to let Goku train.
Goten: "Mom, please let Dad go train. He really wants to go."
Chi-Chi: "Goten, you stay out of this!"
Gohan: "Mom, I'm asking you, too. If Dad can get even more powerful, it'll definitely benefit the Earth. I'll do my best too, of course, but... When push comes to shove, we'll need Dad's power."
Significance: Gohan says that he will continue to 頑張ります/Ganbarimasu, meaning "keep at it" or "do [my] best". This implies that he will continue to train, which goes against what he says in Revival of "F": Muten Rōshi: Gohan, have you been keeping your martial arts training up? Gohan: I-I'm sorry, no. But I can still turn Super Saiyan. Probably. Perhaps Gohan will continue to better himself in Super?
Man Gohan sure likes to tell funny jokes. What he really means is we'll really need Dad's power, but I ain't gonna do shit despite the super easy super convenient way to do it being right in front of me. Then again maybe now that Pan's born, they can't do it possibly so the ritual is now cut off. I dunno how it makes more sense for fetus pan to be more reliable, but I'm just making up why they can't just super easy exploit SSJG. Whis apparently allows Vegeta to pull a Freeza and considering how fast the next generation progresses in training with a master, they could achieve greater levels in shorter time.

Though to be completely impartial and if I accepted my reason of Pan being born making super easy convenient power up now not doable, no way Gohan would go with Whis as he wouldn't have time nor want to leave his family for that period of time. Also if I accepted my fanon as well, then Gohan is far more respectable than a dolt who refuses a super easy process to make protecting his family's future. It's why I don't talk shit about Krillin or others who literally can't get that strong probably if they tried. Cut the ritual possibility then it's more understandable.

I doubt Goten or Trunks would want to leave either. They'd have to say goodbye to the planet earth for some time and maybe only get to come back when Whis does...whenever that is. So by that reasoning as well as fanon, they'd stay put. Piccolo however....come on green man this is your chance to be big again. Piccolo should go with Whis already to be the mean big green machine. Common Pickle Puss. Please go and don't just be the turban man who stands around trying to be cool .
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Context: Bulma and Kuririn are catching up after a chance encounter.
Bulma: "Oh? So you passed the police officer exam?"
Kuririn: "That's right. Though I failed the first two times..."
Significance: Shows that it took Kuririn three attempts to pass the exam for some reason. Moments later, we learn that his cell phone ringtone is an instrumental version of "We Are", the first opening theme of One Piece (basically their equivalent of CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA). This is a reference to Mayumi Tanaka, Kuririn's voice actress, playing the lead character Monkey D. Luffy. This reference was carried over from Revival of "F". Toriyama specified that Kuririn's ringtone should be "a tune from One Piece" in his original script for RoF, as featured in Volume "F".
The Police Exam probably has a written portion that Krillin needed a couple tries to pass. Krillin's not dumb, but he probably didn't have much formal education. Plus he'd need to learn the law as well

I mentioned that in the episode thread, but i might join the discussion here as well. My first impression of that scene was different; i took the "i'll do my best" as related to the "when push comes to shove" part of Gohan's line: meaning if the situation gets critical, he will do his best, but they would still need Goku.
I didn't get a intent of going back to train, but we'll see.

Btw, after Chi-chi says "Goten, you stay out of this!", Goten gives her a disheartened "ok..." that is irrelevant to the point here, but the delivery is pretty funny.

Krillin would definitely pass the physical portion with no troubles, so I agree, the written exam would be the kicker. The law is something you learn as you go assuming we're applying real world applications to dragon world.
