*I'm angry and pissed off and want to project my frustrations & grievances with the world onto a anime franchise including it's fandom and lecture people about why that matters and get them angry so they can also project their frustrations & grievances with the world onto me and get them lecturing me on why that matters so that we can go back & forth about it until the thread either dies down from interest or gets locked - oh yeah, did I mention, I'M ANGRY!!!*

Apologies for the failure in moderation up to this point; it's unacceptable for us as an administrative and moderation team to have not already stepped in. That being said, coming in late and reviewing things in quick succession, there appears to be a whole lot of complaining about complaining and accusations of things that didn't actually happen or weren't actually said. Please always be careful to review what it is you're saying, responding to, and contributing. Some of you have been immediately getting angry at someone who's agreeing with you, and/or angrily explaining back to someone what they literally just said. There's a lot to be learned from and reflected on right there.

Additionally, paraphrasing from another thread:

It's OK to not respond to threads. You don't have to engage, don't have to add to the pile, and don't have to make a scene. You're not obligated to respond anywhere to anything in particular. You can just report and move on to more productive things; this is what actually, truly, really helps both us as the administrative team, and yourselves in making a better community. Remember what the Kanzenshuu community guidelines say:
What we are about:
facts, striving for accuracy, history, documentation, courtesy, open-mindedness and challenging conversations

What we are not about:
harassment of any kind, mis/disinformation, general internet culture
You can absolutely work within that first area without falling into the trap of the second area. That's what we're looking for in community members. That being said, sometimes conversations like this are helpful: it allows us to find the rotten ones. The full saying is that "one rotten apple spoils the bunch", and so you need to actually get rid of them. If you're not willing to work within those incredibly lenient and fair guidelines, and instead wish to kick and scream and whine and project some truly terrible views on your fellow fans, well, you can just fuck off forever. Sweeping account action is indeed being taken.

As one final reminder, since the message might be a bit lost due to the unfortunate response that took place, these kinds of threads and questions are 100% welcome and encouraged. Please don't be discouraged, and instead feel free to speak up, share, and listen in kind.
