I just recently purchased the original 2000 DVDs of Bardock-The Father of Goku and The History of Trunks used from Funimation. The DVDs are in pretty good condition, so it was a good purchase.

Back when they were releasing the double feature Bardock and Trunks specials, I was like, "Yes! Finally I'll have them!" Then found out that they'd be in widescreen. Did so much research to try to find them online and either they were used or expensive (I'm not paying $70 for a used Bardock special, sorry). Then came across both brand new factory sealed for really cheap. there's a buyer called closeoutmovies on Ebay. He used to have TONS of DBZ stuff factory sealed. I think it was a store or something because you'd buy something and then the exact same DVDs would reappear a couple of days later for bidding. Really cheap and all brand new.

I found them on Yahoo! Auction. Fortunately the seller didn't know how to play VHS in PAL format, so he got them up as junk stuff

Don't do it! If you still haven't purchased the season sets yet, you may as well hold off a little while longer after FUNi has completed their Z season brick releases. You never know if they'll repackage the orange bricks in some type of, " Get ready to own the Complete Dragonball Z Season Set Collection, mashed into an incredible uber-fragilistic Collector's Box Holder! "

I ordered the Neko Majin Kanzenban, and the two anime guides, Son Goku Densetsu and Tenkaichi Densetsu. I'll probably receive them before Christmas. :)

I have seasons 1 and 7. Not one THROUGH seven, mind you, just those two. And the way I see it, I can just sell three or for sets on eBay if there is a super uber collector's edition released. I doubt that such a set would have anything worth owning other than a box, though.

I bought season 1 a few months back. I forgot how much I loved this show. I want to buy the other seasons now :)

The season sets have that kind of effect on you.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I got a VHS of DBZ movie 3 Brazilian Portuguese dub.
I haven't checked the content yet, but I guess it's the one has different voice actors and Mexican Head Chala song for the opening.

Meh it's already done. That's my Christmas present =P
Also I don't really want to spend all that cash at one time for the Collection.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Even if you save a little money, I find it easier to buy seperately sometimes.

It's why I don't know if I will get the Dragon Ball Z manga box set.
Yo! Cal's the name. Nice to meet you!

Nice. :o

Y'know, you could've gotten one of the Madman fatpacks for around the same price. :P
