Wrong.

You're a DBZ fan. Saying that you'll never have anything to whine about is like saying FUNimation will backtrack and finish releasing the UUSEs. :D

Dude that's low...considering I have the remaining UUE airings from CN on tape.

The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I say it in jest. It ain't just Misterflashdude-- it's all of us. We as a community will always, always have something to complain about.

I have those same tapes. And I only have some 40-odd years to burn them to disc before they completely degrade and I lose 4:3 Saiyan saga forever.

Hey, speak for yourself.

...Oh wait, Freeza's dub voice. You're right. Carry on.

Alright, I just got permission to confirm Piccolo does turn green in the movie. Not "kind of" green, but full green.

I can't list a source yet. If you can't accept that, ignore this post and don't flame me.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

If you really do have proof, then we'll eagerly await it.

I would be relieved if its true. Not!Green Piccolo was one of the things that bothered me the most. I can go along with no antennae because in real life they'd be either flapping all over the place or stiff as a board depending on what material would be used to make them; but Piccolo being green is a must for me.
On hiatus.

Not necessarily. Movie magic can do some amazing things these days. Ever watched Star Trek: Enterprise any? Actors who play Andorians (blue-skinned Piccolo aliens) are fitted with antennae that are made to move as needed via remote. They're quite expressive, and in a very natural-looking way-- I don't see why the same couldn't be done for Piccolo's antennae, should he have any.

GoogleImages and imagines Piccolo with a head full of white hair.

I've never heard of remote-control antennae before, but that sounds really cool.

Now I feel sad that Live Action Piccolo won't have any. :(

Yeah, so am I.

When the Andorians made their debut in the original Star Trek, their antennae were exactly as you described-- stiff, motionless material that came jutting out from the actor's head. Makeup and special effects have come a long way since then.

You can see the antennae in action here. (Check out 00:27!)

Personally, I'd love to see these on a live-action Piccolo. Tres cool. :D

Wow, I just woke up and I just saw the promotional pic... so sorry for the late reply!

Anyway, I'm for once pleased with a photo. The "oozaru" was such a huge dissapointement, but this new photo actually made me smile a little bit :) Even though some say it's not, Goku just LOVES to eat and it *is* one of his trademarks if you ask me. ^^ It's nice that they at least have something in the movie which comes straight from the manga.

And Piccolo does turn green huh? I always suspected it a little bit, when people started with their theories and all... Anyway, good news. Very rare when it comes to this movie.

Yamchi?

Anyway, that Goku picture is kinda awesome, the vehicle he's on it kind of reminiscent of the weird vehicles from the manga. Plus what ever he's eating looks like he cooked it himself... and killed it himself...

Yamchi?
Probably just a typo.

Looks like Goku is still going to be a big eater, judging from the picture.

I'd better see Goku stacking plates at least once during this movie!

The photo leaked wasn't official but it was the Oozaru. But just a test.

http://dragonball.zeldac.com/2008/11/oo ... not-final/

Apparently (I was talking to the owner of that site) Fox said they were just screwing around with various designs they could use.

This is good, but probably no one will care and still call it official.

If that is true, then it's pretty funny. So much fuss over something that was just an idea.

...Though, if it's true, that means the real thing COULD be worse! Haha. I can't wait to figure out what's really going on with Oozaru.

If it's not official, then that's fine. Personally I think that there are/were worse designs regarding more important aspects of the film than what was shown in that single image, but at least that's one more thing that will conceivably change before DragonBall hits theaters.
