Both of those were in BOG. And Gotenks already had a good screentime.
His only fight against Super Buu is more memorable than anything Yamcha ever did.

Not to mention that Goten and Trunks were basically the stars of the Jump Super Anime Tour special.

And Bio-Broly and Broly Second Coming.

Original question for people that already watched it.
Judging by character sheets, I guess Marron appears in the movie?! Did she already grow up a little?!

She was just a really little kid as far as I remember. I kinda glossed over that aspect because Krillin and #18's interactions were really funny and engaging. Maybe someone else paid closer attention.

She's Kuririn's child, and shares very similar proportions to her father when he first appeared. She probably doesn't get her growth spurt until a year or two before the end of the series.

Well, If I remember correctly Yamcha was useful in a scene in Jump 2008... But I agree, I don't see any sense for Mutenroshi to be in the battlefield instead of him.

Yamcha is not that useless, his the 3rd strongest human in the Earth, Toriyama played bad with him

Just re-watched the Buu Saga, and I gotta say, for all the people upset about Gohan's role in this movie and losing Mystic, he sure didn't do a lot with the Mystic Power Up. He beat up Buu, then Buu absorbed Gotenks and Piccolo, then he got absorbed. I thought I remembered him doing more, but all he really did was get beat.

He never really even got a chance to show his stuff.

You forgot Movie 13, but whatever... "Mystic" made Gohan being on the top again above both Goku and Vegeta, he isn't used to training or fighting for fun? Whatever, just keep his powers the same as before

Clearly he's not going to die of old age at this rate. People change their minds about stuff. Hell, wrestlers have come out of retirements before for special one-offs.

Weird to think that the marketing surrounding this movie is only starting to peak now. It's very easy to forget that the movie hasn't properly come out yet, because we know pretty much everything already and so many people on the forum have already seen it (both in the US and Japan!).

Goku is also my favorite people don't like him because they like vegeta.anyway movie comes out a few days and I've been hearing good things about it as much as I loved BOG I think this might be my new favorite.

Bulma taking part in the battle = Bulma piloting some cool (though probably cgi) mech and shooting down grunts with it.
But no, it's just her chewing out Freeza.

I actually think I did grieve about that (no ssjg Gokû), which is weird, because there's so many bigger rl things going on, but I somehow was grieving. I don't know. I'm finished, at least. Grief process complete, moving on. I imagine this is like what it feels like having a favourite character killed off for good. Very unpleasant feeling. Was legit sorrow.

I'll show my disappointment with my wallet. Only buying the regular edition of the movie this time, and probably no tie in merch.
I spent a good chunk on BOG tie in merch a couple years ago. No ssjg Gokû, no extra monies from me.

Now to wait for that full summary.

I've never watched or read anything in Dragonball that would ever lead me to believe that piloting a mech and fighting Freeza's men is something that she would ever do. To be disappointed that something like that didn't happen is like being disappointed that Kuririn didn't suddenly grow a nose after all this time.

Mind you, I wouldn't call what you're saying completely invalid. It's just an odd thing to take issue with.

I have a pretty extensive summary in my review video on my signature. If you have any questions I'll be glad to fill in the gaps as best as I can. I'm honestly surprised that there isn't a written summary by Julian yet.
