I'll take the fully new animation, Toei!

I would love they use colours like this:

I meant that the Kai colors were bad, not these new Toei screens. I like them a lot. I meant when the Kai team was trying to redraw scenes, they stood out so much because they didn't match the colors to the original scene properly.

I didn't purchase either of the Raging Blast games, but I'm pretty sure I'll pick this one up.
It looks to inject enough "new" into the series to warrant a my purchase.

I like a lot of things that this game seems to be bringing, the presentation is a
gigantic step in the right direction... but
it's just a big QTE.

In addition to blocking, vanishing, turning attacks, launchers, sweeping attacks, flying kicks, kiai cannons, mid-combo dodges/teleports etc which were already confirmed. Basically EVERY element of RB2 or BT3's combo system is still intact. Plus the QTE's are worked smoothly into the game, which is good.

I didn´t bought any raging blast either.
Maybe I will pick this up too
but I will have to wait a little.
I don´t want to get disapointed with GT contents or Hero Mode.
Because if I am... I am sure will end up putting the tittle aside..
I don´t have to much time to play, so I just buy what I am really gonna play.
It is sad I know.. and we just can´t make any pressure..
just let them bring what they think it is ultimate.

Yeah basically. But in totally different camera angles. The camera is almost first person when you are in the air and shoot ki at your opponent, so close is it behind your back. It's disconcerting.

First person is literally looking through their eyes. It's not even close to First person.

That's why I said ALMOST. I should have put the "first person" into quotes. At least it's a strange camera position that I will need to get used to since your character totally covers almost the entire screen.

Completely and utterly boring, because the player has no idea what they are doing. Spent half the video lobbing single ki blasts or punching the air...

Doubt post, but its about information, not my opinion or anything about the discussion.
Anyway, seems the Japanese website updated this past Monday. They added a section on the Battle System, which has three pages explaining part of the combat, not that it really makes to me just looking at the images. lol Anyway, here's the link for you guys to check it out:
http://b.bngi-channel.jp/dba/system01.html Nothing else important to bring up there. No new characters in the screens or anything like that...

What are the chances the western release will retain the Kikuchi score?

I do believe the first English magazine scan from Japan Expo (was that the right con? lol) said "original Japanese music". So we should get it if they hold true to that statement, but I don't suppose we'll know until someone from Spike or Namdai confirms it.

I pray this to be true

James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Considering that Kai now has the Kikuchi score, there's absolutely no reason to not include it in the NA/EU versions.

My 2 cents.
