Wait, what? Futurama started in late 1999,
much later than when DBZ and the DBZ movies ended. Unless this is from a recent video game, this isn't a ripoff at all.

Um, that song's NOT from Futurama. It was from way back in the 70s (I believe). Dragon Ball came from the 80s.

It's okay. Anyways, do they sound similar?

They do sound incredibly similar. I played a music video with "The Hustle" in it with the sound turned off, and put on "Capsule Corporation" over it to see if the people in the music video danced to the same beat. Sure enough, they danced almost completely in synch with the music. Here's that music video if want to hear and see for yourself:

It was in Red & Stimpy (which ran through the early 90's-mid 90's).

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about
your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

I think it is far fetched. I mean, it's not like it uses any special notes. Plus, most of the song has no relation to each other.
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

I might be late to the party on this one, but I'm just now discovering the Super Butouden 2 score. To my astonishment, Son Gohan's theme sounds just like Piano Suite Waking Up from Dragon Ball Kai. Maybe I'm just nuts, though...
...actually, that wouldn't be plagiarism as it is. Ack.

Isn't
Warriors Room related to
Daft Punk music? It sounds very much alike.
Example
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

It's been pointed out that it sounds like Daft Punk, but I don't think a specific song from them has ever been named. That song does sound quite a bit like "Warrior's Room", so I wouldn't be surprised if Yamamoto used "Better, Faster, Stronger" as at least inspiration for the song.

I started listening to the Super Butouden soundtrack after listening to the podcast and noticed similarities between Gero's theme and the theme of
Enter the Dragon. Not really a rip-off but maybe he was inspired by
Enter The Dragon just like Toriyama.
Enter The Dragon Theme
Super Butouden OST-Gero's Theme
Actually after listening to it again maybe I am just imagining it.
