Holy shit!!! SSJ Goku vs Freeza, the most iconic fight from anime history by far, returns in all its glory with amazing quality, buff Goku and no censorship.
I was expecting something cool, but this was unbelievable.
I have the feeling Toei wanted remake this iconic fight for a long time, but they didn't had the right opportunity yet.
They scratched the surface with UT cutscenes, BOG flashback and the Director's Cut version, but now the time to remake it in a big way finally arrived.
They even managed to make Vegeta younger, which is something that BOG Movie failed to do with Vegeta's flashback about his first encounter with Beerus.
I'm really happy with this recap. Seriously, I love it.
I demand a recap like this from the Cell Games, to see my boy Gohan SSJ2 kicking ass on this quality!
It's funny how this 13 minutes extra stuff has so much better music than the entire original Movie. The soundtrack of this Movie was terribly bad with a lot of silent moments.
As for the Director's Cut version overall, I have to say I'm not satisfied. FT Trunks arc stuff feels so pointless here.
I would gladly replace it for some Freeza training sequence and add more 7 minutes of extra stuff. 20 minutes would be good.
I was expecting they would surprise us with our deserved third Movie announcement in the end, but looks like I was dreaming too high.
Anyway, I always said ROF is one of the best DB products when to comes to visual quality and with this recap of SSJ Goku vs Freeza added now, the more I believe in that.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.
