I think it's kind of hilarious that all of these supposed Dragon Ball announcements aren't happening right now, at JUMP Festa, but at a completely separate event. It goes to show the divide between Shueisha and Capsule Corp Tokyo.

Wouldn't that mean the supposed remake wouldn't have access to manga content, if they're still divided and the case isn't settled? Shueisha owns the manga rights, don't they?

I think they just want more attention to the announcements and make it grandiose.

Apparently they have a lot to talk about the series in general, including games. The venue being prepared seems to be relatively big and includes a bunch of different booths, not sure if Jump Festa would be the right place/financially adequate to host so much stuff.

It's safe to say expectations are higher than usual for this event, it's gonna be almost impossible to meet them. Whatever they announce will make me happy, even Daima got me excited. We'll even have new games to look forward to, it's gonna be a great day.

I, for one, would be happy if Jaco got an animated adaptation. Considering how Super basically made him part of the main cast, I think we're way overdue for an animated adaptation of his origin.

A Neko Majin anime adaption would be nostalgic for me in a good way. (Also would mean more EoZ Goku. )

A Jaco anime adaptation could also be fun. I'd like to see them take advantage of the medium music-wise and lean into it taking place a decade or so before DB. (Where the original DB (1986) music is very 80's, go more 70's sounding for the music in Jaco).

It's pretty much an inviolable, core plot point that anything below SSG is fodder to Beerus. It's the entire point of SSG, the entryway to a whole new realm of power and possibilities that were barred before.

That's why it really isn't a "plot hole" when Goku doesn't bring up SSJ4 against Beerus. Since SSJ3 is fodder to Beerus (as we saw quite clearly in the movie and... sigh... regrettably, episode 5 of the anime...), why exactly would SSJ4 be any different? The gap between those two forms isn't that big.

That's why it really isn't a "plot hole" when Goku doesn't bring up SSJ4 against Beerus.

He said 3 is his final transformation before even fighting Beerus, so it is. And if he had it in Super, he would have then brought it out against Caulifla for sure. But we know it's out of universe and nobody had any idea Toriyama would bring in SSJ4 years later. Now they do, so a remake fixing that would be welcome, but probably won't happen.

I really enjoyed Sand Land and would love seeing Toriyama's other stories get an anime .

I think it would be easier to keep them separate continuities. It's not just the transformations but also some of the lore doesn't seem like it's intended to be in the same continuity.

I think if it goes seasonal that much is a given at least, they'll have to adhere to a schedule and everything will be way faster than in the original DBS anime. I predict ToP by episode 50.
