I reckon the puffy pants are worse.
This is true.
He'd probably have issues with those pants on windy days. XD
On hiatus.

Meh, puffy pants are pretty standard for Dragonball. I just don't dig the weird muscle armor COMBINED with puffy pants...

I believe the correct terminology is
parachute pants.

Yes but it sounds a lot less funny. Not to mention I can't help but to read "puffy pants" in a Spanish accent making it all the more awesome.
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

I met a guy on SoCal once who sounded like Yamch, he asked me if I wanted to "catch some gnarly swells" with him
Heh, I remember when Chris Sabat told everyone he saw Yamcha as having a surfer accent.

This. Even Piccolo and Yamcha I have a hard time imagining real people sounding like, but I think it's more to do with how they speak rather than how their voices sound.
I know that's why some people say they sound cartoony. In the original, you could probably hear Vegeta or Piccolo's voice coming out of a normal guy's mouth. Chris Sabat seems to have to force out "Vegeta" in particular (just watch him do it live). It's a big departure from his comfort level, and you can tell he really just developed it to stand out from Drummond (especially compared to his first turn at the role).
Did I miss a bad quote-off?
(One of Garlic Jrs henchmen to Piccolo) "You're gonna wish you never said that, lizard boy!"
That was the wind up. And here's the pitch-
"Look! I did not come here to fight with you! It was you and your idiotic friends that started it in the first place, now tell me where Goku is!"
Dubgeta's explanation for his rampage on Freeza's remaining outposts.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

I think he's great. Him and Corlett are my favorites.

Especially given his recent performance in Kai, I'd say he's still the best english V.A. for Goku. What I love about Schemmel is that he was able to make Goku seem like his uneducated child-like self while still giving him an air of confidence and strength when need be. Almost like the middle ground between Peter Kelamis (Perfected the manchild aspect of Goku, though his performances were usually too forced/over the top) and Ian Corlett (A more naturally sounding Goku, though less faithful to the character), taking the best of both. The distinctness of his voice has also always been a plus imo.
