This summer I was in Nagoya for a couple days and my mother's cousin's wife just mentioned randomly (believe me, I said nothing to prompt this) that Toriyama's home and studio was nearby in Kiyosu. Of course I begged her to take me so she just texts one of her girlfriends for the address (seriously???) and we go! Here are some photos:

It would be orange... It really meant a lot to me to go since I admire the man so much, but I didn't want to be that idiot that knocks on the door especially since there was that sign on the mail slot.

That's so awesome that you had the opportunity to see his house. Thanks for sharing that!

I'm starting to get really tempted to sell my DBox 2, seeing the prices it's going for now, and the fact that it's my only DBox and it's guaranteed I won't get them all, considering my budget.

Thanks Doc.

Speaking of 'Dragonball crap', I've managed to obtain a 2nd generation VHS of 'movie twelve'. Probably a rental copy.

A basic translation of the label would be great; please and thanks in advance to those of you that can!

I'm not 100% sure about the left-most rectangle, but it looks like 全国劇場公開作品 (Nation-Wide Theatrical Release).

Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Revived!! Gokuu and Vegeta

1995 Release / Vista Size (refers to 1.66:1 aspect ratio?)
Voice Actors: Masako Nozawa / Takeshi Kusao
Director: Shigeyasu Yamauchi
Screenplay: Takao Koyama
Creator: Akira Toriyama (Serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump)

(Can't read the text in the little black rectangle at all.)

I now have all the DBZ DragonBox: The Movies singles. I used to have the box but a few years ago I had to sell it. Now that I have a real job, I'll settle for the singles...

Sorry for the blurry pic, it was taken with my phone. But a month or so ago, I condensed my 3 Toriyama shelves into 2:

Does anyone know if ordering the level blu rays from amazon will still come with the cardboard slipcases?
Next to get; Leged of Saiyan figures and Freeza's force

If anyone sees
Any of the Legend of Saiyan line going cheapish
Or any other Banpresto DBZ figure :)

If anyone has a cooler steelbook dvd that wants to sell it (prefer new but used is fine) when/if the dragon box movies comes out contact me :)

They should. I ordered mine off Amazon a few days ago and should be getting them soon, so I'll let you know.

I bought this bootleg DVD set (4 discs; 3-4 movies on a disc) of the 13 DBZ movies a long time ago on eBay for $35...before FUNi released the first Cooler movie. I think most were transfers from the Laser Discs with added Eng. subtitles. I was pretty damn happy with the video quality at the time. And I thought the box art was pretty decent too. Did anyone else come across this back in the day?

Yup, I used to own it along with the DVD-9 Versions of the Dragon Box/Z bootlegs. I remember I got a friend to buy these for me when he visited San Francisco.

Krycek7o2... Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure it was a shop in San Francisco, Japan Town (maybe China Town) that sold it to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same store!
