Well, I have have definitely seen weaker looking enemies in other MMORPGs. I just think Toriyama has a thing for designing obscure monster enemies (much like the overused and overpowered Poo Snakes in Blue Dragon), so I find it to be no problem as long as they're generic common enemies that you fight just for grinding or so. The whole menu interface screams WoW and time travel is something I haven't seen in an MMORPG yet. Overall, it looks like a good/decent game, but the level design definitely blows me away much like how expansive and beautiful Dragon Quest VIII was. And that was a game Toriyama was involved in as well, not surprisingly.

Eh, the time travel in DBO seems to be your classic MMO quest spiced up a little.

Ya, the time travel reminds me a lot of the Caverns of Time from WoW.

Well, going off of the footage, it'll be the first MMO to include cinematic finishing moves (atleast to my knowledge). And, as Verto said, the time travelling mechanic was done in WoW, although not to the extent that it appears in DBO (main storyline quest seems to revolve around time travel).
The purple/blue guy is probably distorting the timeline in someway; possibly altering history in some way which ends up destroying Yadrat and, if it's true, Namek?
Now, to just wait for someone to prove me wrong with a piece of info I've missed... :P

Give a technique a couple hundred years to evolve and many times it becomes more efficient and easier to use, I guess.

Here are three new gameplay videos that show some of the techniques that the three races can use:

-Human: http://www.jv247.com/games/1424-VIDEO21 ... umain.html

-Namek: http://www.jv247.com/games/1424-VIDEO21 ... Namek.html

If that's the case than I wouldn't mind playing a trail version of this game to see if I like it. That's if the game will be released in the US (which I can't fathom why it wouldn't be).
Then again I'll buy any game that would allow me to beat up innocent lemurs.

Kind of like Super Saiyan. Eventually after a few years it became effortless.

My question is, is there a monthly fee? If so how much?
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

I found this over at a fourm on another site. It's a screenshot of a female Super Saiyan.

My guess is that it has something to do with the time travel? It actually looks pretty fun, though.

It's been said that the human species in the game consists of Earthlings with a degree of Saiyan blood after centuries of interbreeding. So maybe some humans have retained the ability to transform into Oozaru.

SPACE-TIME ROAD TRIP TO PLANET VEGETA! :P

That would be AWESOME. Saiyan enemies giving out tons of EXP... Y'know, 'cuz they're Saiyans, and not pigs wearing hats. :o

With that Time travel, it should be simmilar to what will be in the new SW Old Republic. They say it'll be like playing ordinary game on PC with lot of possible storylines based on your decisions (more complex light or dark side from Jedi Knight) and with live people instead of characters' AI.....
Yes and logically with a lot bigger gamespace then on PC games, they are promissing the whole galaxy to us. That's okay in the age of GPS
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

Here's a new video : http://www.jv247.com/games/1424-VIDEO21 ... re-02.html

It shows Trunks taking the players back in time to when Piccolo was training a very young Gohan.

Oh goody, it has the date for the year Piccolo trains Gohan as Age 761, the same as the Daizenshuu 7 timeline. The earlier trailer had the year of the 28th TB as 778, rather than 784 like in D7, and the prospect of having two official but contradictory timelines was quite annoying (778 is the year D7 gives for the 26th TB however, so the preview makers probably got the two tournaments confused).

Anyway, I wonder what that green gem in Oozaru Gohan's head is all about.

Looks like a mind control device.

It does look like it, but if it is a mind-control device, why does he still attack you when he has it on? Is someone brain-washing him into fighting you? He pretty much attacks anything that moves in his natural state anyway, so what would be the point in forcing him to?
