True, but all those listed had FIGHTING models, meaning most of their moves are already coded. For Bulma and Babidi you would have to have enhanced models for fighting capabilities, but I get your point.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:You forgot some, though not that big a deal. lol Just for completeness, Bulma had a model for the training mode in Budokai 3, and Babidi also appeared during Vegeta's enslavement cutscene...DNA wrote:In the mean time, here's a list of available models from past games with the same graphical engine:

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Having watched more videos of the game than I care to admit, I can say it doesn't really matter if they were used for fighting or not. Since Heroes is nothing but a bunch of precoded cutscenes that deal damage or fail depending on a timing meter, all the characters have the sames set of attacks/actions/etc. The exceptions are cards that have special techniques on them, like a Gohan card that allows him to use the Kamehameha or a team attack with someone. Assuming they don't give either of the two a special technique or team attack, all they would really have to do is is put the skins on top of someone else's frame (Bulma's on Videl, Babidi on Gurd?) and they are pretty much set.
Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Fair enough dude, I added them on the previous list for completeness sake like you said.
Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
The image just says "Cho-Saiyajin," so the "j" is just for "jin." It's more or less Super Saiyan ... For Cell, on the other hand ... Mind linking me to the Cell card in question?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Yeah, but that's only useful every once in a while, and most of the cards with it are obvious anyway. I'm really only confused on 2 forms in the game...NeoKING wrote:Also, you mentioned that the cards are hard to identify because their names don't specify their forms. The "Change" section of the card comes in handy for that. So a SSJ3 Goku card would have "Change: SSJ3" on it.
For Cell, Trunks, and Vegeta's buff forms, I tried matching the kanji against some of the the kanji for the terms of the forms, but haven't had any luck. The url uses "saiyajs" for them, and I can't think of "js" standing for anything special...except maybe "jumbo size". Care to take a look?
And then just for Vegeta, I haven't seen anything about him transforming into Super Saiyan 2 in the card descriptions on the site, just SS, "Jumbo Size", Majin, and SS3. I know one of the newer cards has the variable transformation ability for him, allowing him to transform into Super Saiyan if you do the action correctly, but it doesn't say what the second transformation is if you do it super perfect...as I said, it says nothing about SS2 that I can see, so maybe its Majin? I dunno... There were like 2 card that had art looking like he was a SS2 in the Buu saga, and one that looked like SS2 in the battle jacket.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Hm, that doesn't make sense to me. The cards use "Normal", "Saiya", "Saiyajs", "Saiya2", and "Saiya3" for the forms...why use "js" for "jin" only on the graded form? Cell's image also uses "perfectjs" too...NeoKING wrote:The image just says "Cho-Saiyajin," so the "j" is just for "jin." It's more or less Super Saiyan ... For Cell, on the other hand ... Those little things detailing the forms, Trunks' really just said Super Saiyan? I know that's in there on the second row, but what does the bottom row say? That's the text in question, because that is what he shares with Cell and Vegeta.
As far as I know, there isn't a Cell card for the form that has one of those things, but a Vegeta card does. Link to the Vegeta and Cell cards, just in case you can get more info from them than I can:

Gotcha. From left to right:
- Trunks: Young Man
Normal
- Trunks: Young Man
Super Saiyajin
- Trunks
Super Saiyan
Power-Stressed
- Cell
Perfect Form
Power-Stressed
- Vegeta
Super Saiyan
Power-Stressed
- Trunks: Young Man
Super Saiyan 3
The "J" is for "Juushi" which literally means something like "serious" or "stressed."

Trunks, the stressed young man.
Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Well in his defense, when you come from a quasi-apocolyptic future where most of your closest friends and family have bitten the dust and you yourself are on the run, conventional stress-relief wouldn't help much, lol.DNA wrote:Trunks, the stressed young man.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Thank you. lol Its been killing me for months to know what the hell terminology they used for the forms. I made a request in the translation topic a while back, but it got ignored. lol One mystery down...only SS2 Vegeta left to go. As said before I haven't seen it written that he has the form, so its possible he just hasn't been given the form yet and they are saving it for a later set (but that makes no sense with every other SS2 character having been given the form in the game already). Oh well, can't do anything but wait and see...NeoKING wrote:Gotcha.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Are you guys doing counts of models? As in, actual characters? Because I know that in the previous Carddass, Miracle Battlers or something, a heap of GT characters such as Redict/Ledgic debuted ... Maybe they're planning to include possible GT characters in Heroes?

I quote myself because I was right... lol The next set returns with the rest of the Buu Arc:TheDevilsCorpse wrote:My guess at what set of villains are next would probably be a return to the end of the series again. Maybe the rest of the Buu stuff they didn't cover last time, or the Buu Era movies... we've been early in the series for two sets now, and the Jinzoningen are done as much as they could be unless they just feel like wasting card space. Recent promo cards include Chilled (coming soon) and Super/Evil Buu, which would fit in pretty nicely.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Nah, probably not. New characters are always the secret card of the set. This time it will probably just be Chilled that takes the slot, similar to Hatchihyack in set 2...that or maybe they'll include a wider range of villains instead of just Buu, perhaps will be thrown into the mix, then his SS3 form can take the slot...ShadowDude112 wrote:Super Saiyan 3 Vegetto, anyone? Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
パワー重視/"power-stressed" has been used to refer to at least Cell's buff form since the DBZ/Budokai games. I think the English version translates it as "power-weighted".
