Because when even Captain Ginyu can guess someone is suppressing their power and can make an estimate, I'm 100% certain the mother fuckin 75+ million year old God of Destruction can make an even more accurate estimate.Saiyan007 wrote:How is that fact?

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Nothing new in terms of power really, just the usual Beerus pissing around with people. I guess the only time he'll actually start using any of his power will be for SSJG. I genuinely don't think he's used 1% of his power yet.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Sure there is, they took away Goku's punching feat through Kaio's world. So we got a reverse feat scenario.Sora Saiyan wrote:Nothing new in terms of power really, just the usual Beerus pissing around with people. Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Beerus says that this Super Saiyan Goku would have a hard time against Freeza.

How this scene is supposed to be taken a fact just because he is harsh but we still got no answer about Goku being surpressed is just another fan puzzle.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Because, again, just like in BoG, there's literally no point for this line to be in the movie unless that statement is to be taken as fact, especially since it wasn't shown to be false later through actions or another statement. And because if Captain Ginyu can guess power levels, so can the age-old God of Destruction. Maybe it's not fact, but it's the simplest solution IMO.Cetra wrote:How this scene is supposed to be taken a fact just because he is harsh but we still got no answer about Goku being surpressed is just another fan puzzle.

No point? Like scouters measuring Trunks at 5 so he can prove there is actually more to him than it looks and no one suspects him a threat?

Beerus was aware Goku was still hiding SS3. I think he'd be aware of Goku's full strength in his base form.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
I think that was a mistranslation from the usual day 1 poor subs. I think herms may have pointed that out.Doctor. wrote:Beerus says that this Super Saiyan Goku would have a hard time against Freeza.

that feat didn't really change much because he can still hurt people more durable than planets with his fistsdbzfan7 wrote:Sure there is, they took away Goku's punching feat through Kaio's world. "It is said that a Super Saiyan 2 punch is so strong that it can take you to another dimension."
Sounds really weird... Is this correct, or a mistranslation?

So Dragon Team are the best subs for this? I just saw some really terrible ones that kept misspelling words. I'm going to have watching that sub if they just keep making mistakes.
There's a few things said in this episode that I can't really comment on because I don't know how accurate they even are.

Mistranslation. It's something more like "Even a punch from a SS2 can't hit him. He's in a different dimension".DBZGTKOSDH wrote:"It is said that a Super Saiyan 2 punch is so strong that it can take you to another dimension."

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
So could someone recap me on more impressive feats department in super at least a little list
Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread
Exactly. In that situation, it was immediately proven wrong. Nothing says otherwise when Beerus says Goku would lose to Freeza. I literally pointed out in my last post that other situations this happens in, if we're to realize it's false, we would be shown. We were not shown it was wrong in this case.Cetra wrote:No point? Nothing imo, this was a pretty lackluster episode in terms of both animation and feats.pacz360 wrote:So could someone recap me on more impressive feats department in super at least a little list
