T2 isn't about power levels and ki, its about magic: I gave you a power level to give you an idea of where Tapion is, but if you boost him to Slug's level, and then give him the ability to control his powers so Bulma can clear him, it goes against everything that T2 is supposed to stand for. And there's no reason for Tapion to provide special treatment: Taking his sword out of the equation, if his power level is high enough to provide him fast enough speed to kill Slug with a sword, he's going to be fast and strong enough to take Bulma down non-lethally, if he cares about her not being evil. Second, if he uses the sword, he can lob off something that will force Bulma to concede, and Supreme Kai of Time will reverse it. Tapion may be a hero but is not being a white knight here. He went into this tournament to gain Beerus' favor and fight for him against Champa's group. He's not going to hold back, especially if the ugliness of battle would be reversed in a matter of seconds.

Now, we haven't gone over Bulma's tech. If Tapion is to be stronger and you want Bulma to win, let's hash out her tech so she can secure a win because she's the superior fighter, not the strongest fighter.

My idea was that basically even with the power boost, Tapion is still physically inferior to Slug, so he needs to use his swords magical properties to make up for the difference. If all he has is a sword that can cut through anything, his fighting style isn't really magic based. His power level would still be the most important factor there, since if he's not fast enough to connect a fighter with better power could easily defeat him.

As for Bulma's tech, my thinking was that she has a variety of Power armors, each with a different load out of tech.

Against Mecha Kid Goku, she uses one with Gravity manipulation powers, and high defense capabilities. She uses the fluctuations in Gravity to cause Mecha Kid Goku to malfunction, and get granted the Victory that way.

Sounds good so far.

Against Tapion, she'd use her standard armor, which is strong enough for her to beat Tapion assuming she manages to avoid his sword.

Counter 1: A magic sword is still made out of metal. She can magnetize the weapon and tear it away from Tapion.
Counter 2: Smoke Bombs and Holograms.
Counter 3: We steal God's Blade from DBM. She gets him from far away.

Against Slug, the only armor she has that could do any damage to him is also too slow to hit him, so she can't beat him

If she fights Slug or Vegeta, win or lose she's going to need to pull out her best material. What if she creates a new Power Armor on the fly? She goes out with the Heavy Armor, sheds it for a new armor based on Magic instead of Tech? Inbetween breaks, she chats with spectators and contestants of T2, and builds a magitek armor?

Scene 5

Spoiler:

Right before Gohan and Yamcha went towards their respective boxes, Gohan looked to see Chi Chi of Timeline 10 walking up and taking Yamcha into an embrace: they kissed passionately. Blushing furiously, Gohan realized that with his father dead, Chi Chi would have moved on. Walking back to the T5 boxes, Gohan watched as three raven haired kids ran down from the stands to tackle Yamcha, who along with Chi Chi, hugged all of them and laughed. The oldest one seemed only a few years younger than Gohan himself.

"Do you think you can patch me up?"

"Sure." Piccolo said, firing a teal beam of energy at Gohan. In an instant, his tattered gi was back to normal, from the shreds it was previously.

"I can't believe I had so much trouble in my first match." Gohan said. "I wasn’t expecting anything like that."

"Why? Because it was Yamcha?" Piccolo asked. Gohan's mouth slightly opened at the suggestion, it was shocking to him.

"No! Of course not!”

“Because I thought that fight was going to be a complete waste of time.” Piccolo replied truthfully, a small smile on his face in contrast with Gohan's frown. “None of us are there. Goku isn’t there, and Vegeta isn’t there. For all we knew, Timeline 10 may have just been extremely lucky to survive as long as they did. But I can see it wasn’t just luck that got them this far You did fine against a powerful opponent, and now we all to not underestimate anyone.

I've never knew Yamcha could become so powerful!" Goku in the VIP boxes said to himself, standing in front of the glass, giddy like a child on Christmas. "And if he's not the strongest fighter of Timeline 10..." A wide grin grew on his face.

While everyone was still musing, Whis appeared in the middle of the ring, microphone in hand, to call the next match.
"Gohan of Timeline 1, Piccolo of Timeline 1, please move to the ring. I repeat: Gohan of Timeline 1, Piccolo of Timeline 1, please move into the ring." In the T1 boxes Piccolo's eyes widened at hearing this. Not even taking a backward glance to see what Gohan was thinking, Piccolo moved towards tournament ring.

"Whis you blasted fool." Beerus muttered. "It's practically impossible from fighters of the same timeline to meet in the first match. What are you doing for these match up, throwing darts on a wall with names?"

Same time he died in canon during the Cell saga. The divergence there is that Gohan took his training more seriously during the 7 years between Cell and Buu, so Goku didn't need to come back permanently.

With Goku still dead, Frieza was willing to take a little while to sort out his empire, so he arrived later than he did in the canon timeline

Scene 1
-We see Yamcha before he heads out. Tien, who looks mostly the same as he does in canon, with the exception being that he is blind in his right eye, wishes him luck, As does Chiaotzu who is dressed in an outfit resembling Draculas.

Roshi's young form resembles Jackie Chun with differently colored hair, and is wearing a loose fitting black and white Kame Gi. Roshi reminds Yamcha that his wife and son are watching, so he can't lose.

-Time Patrol Trunks steps forward and tells the crowd that he is the referee for the tournement. T1 Vegeta senses that he has become much stronger, and is proud. Trunks explains the rules of the tournement.

Scene 1

"So I'm up first huh?" Yamcha said, rubbing the back of his head, "Oh well, can't be helped. I'll give it my best."

"Good luck," Tien said. He looked much the same as he did in timeline one, but his muscles were leaner, and his right eye was blind.

"Yeah, show them what you got," Chaozu said. Chaozu had changed far more than Tien. He was taller, around Krillin's height, and he had a new outfit. His get up consisted of black pants and a white shirt, with a black vest. On his back, he wore a high collared black cape with red lining.

"Don't forget," said Roshi, "Your wife and kids are gonna be watching. You need to do well for them."

Roshi himself was looking unusually young, with a full head of black hair and a well trimmed black beard. He also wore a black and white Kame Gi.

As the combatants entered the ring, Trunks stepped up, and said "I'm the referee for the tournement, so I'll explain the rules now."

The Vegeta of Timeline One looked at his son from another time, and smiled. 'You've become much stronger, Trunks'

He spoke, and his words were projected to the entire arena.

"The matches will continue until one of you surrenders, is knocked out, is unable to continue the fight, or dies. Weapons may be used, as can illusions so long as the audience and I are not effected. Fighters awaiting their match will be held inside their box by a barrier for the duration of each match, to prevent interference. If another person interferes on the behalf of a combatant, that combatant is disqualified."

Some background for Timeline 13, while we wait for the beta.

Lord Slug

Spoiler:

In this timeline, Lord Slug was never banished from planet Namek. He eventually became the ruler of the planet, and wished for eternal youth on his planet's dragonballs. However, before he could wish for other benefits, the creator of the Dragonballs killed himself to prevent it.

When the great cataclysm struck Namek, Slug turned outward, and conquered a new planet to be the Namekian's home. embolded by his success, Slug began conquering more worlds under the banner of Namek.

Eventually, They encountered Majin Buu. In order to defeat him, Slug called on the greatest warriors of the Namekian Empire to fuse with him. With that power, he was able to strike down Buu.

Tullece

Spoiler:

Tullece grew up on Planet Vegeta, and became sick of their delusions of honor and nobility. He saw them as a race of opportunistic butchers. Exploiting his dissatisfaction, the Wizard Babidi made him an offer. Babidi would give him a means of wiping out the Saiyans using a tree known as the Tree of Might, but in exchange, Babidi would be given the fruit of the tree.

The Tree of might took root on Planet Vegeta, and soon nearly everyone was dead. One of the last survivors, King Vegeta, tracked Tullece down and thrashed him. He pointed out that, in the end, Tullece was no better than the saiyans he hated. In the end, Tullece's life was only saved when a piece of the Trees fruit fell into his mouth. The fruit gave him the power to defeat King Vegeta.

Recognizing that King Vegeta's words were true, Tullece gorged on the fruit of the tree, becoming even more powerful. Tullece fled into space with the rest of the Trees seeds, and formed a band of pirates who marauded accross the cosmos.

The Saiyans had been a mercanary race, working for whoever paid best, and thanks to that many saiyans survived the destruction of Planet Vegeta. The surviving saiyans rallied under Prince Vegeta, and swore allegience to the strongest of the galactic empires, The Planet Trade Organization lead by Frieza, in exchange for help finding him.

Eventually, they did track down Tullece, but by that point he was capable of fighting Frieza in his final form, though not capable of actually beating him. Vegeta was knocked aside with no issue. Tullece defeats Frieza by throwing a seed inside his mouth, causing a Tree of Might to sprout inside his stomach. Tullece then kills all the remaining saiyans in one attack, except for Vegeta. Vegeta, witnessing the death of his race, ascends into a super saiyan form, and battles Tullece, a battle he ultimately loses.

Bojack

Spoiler:

Bojack is freed when Cooler, who's on the losing end of a battle with Tullece, causes the star his group is imprisoned in to go Supernova. Bojack's pirates return to the scene, announcing their presence by killing King Cold. Bojack begins carving up a sizable chunk of the galaxy, which brings him into conflict with the Galactic Patrol. Babidi uses Bojack's battles with them to gain energy for Buu, eventually leading to his release.

Rildo

Spoiler:

In this Timeline, Planet M-2 launched their planets early in order to hunt down the last remaining Saiyan, Tullece.
They gain an easily foothold by finding Cooler's remains and rebuilding him into Mecha Cooler, thus absorbing the remains of the Planet Trade Empire (King Kold having been killed by Tullece.)

Tullece is the strongest fighter from Timeline 13. In their last confrontation, it took Rildo, Slug, and Bojack together to match Tullece. Since then however, All three have developed new forms which they believe can help them match Tullece in power
