What I meant is that he can't be a direct relative to Vegeta unless he has traveled into the future, since this guy seems to be about 12-13 years old. He would have had to have been a decendant of someone other than Vegeta to have been born so recently, plus the fact that he's wearing Saiya-jin/Freeza armor (and so are the two guys that are after him) means that he's probably not from this exact time.
He could be a bastard Vegeta sired when he was searching for Goku in space.
But (assuming that this falls into or at least doesn't totally and blatantly defy the canon universe) that would mean that this guy is like 17 years old or something.
Not to mention the fact that at that time Vegeta was under the control of Freeza, who probably wasn't giving him any easy jobs or any personal down time, and Vegeta was pretty self motivated to seek out constant difficult missions and always be training and getting stronger.
And bringing up such a popular character's tacky one-night-stand when he is currently married does not seem like Toryama's style. Plus I assume that that isn't what is usually featured in Japanese anime that is aimed at children. And the fact that Jump probably doesn't want a story revolving around an un-fathered son featured at their grand 40th anniversary.

Wait, what? Did I miss something? There will be several specials of Dragonball?

No, several other anime will be getting specials for this occasion. I can't remember what they all are, but I'm pretty sure that One Piece is one of them.

Can't wait to see this. Table looks great, and Abo & Kado's names made me giggle. Toriyama rocks.

No one's gonna apologize for biting that guy's head off when it turns out he was right about the villains' names?
Where does a dream go when you wake up and can't remember it anymore?
Nowhere.

Is there any particular reason he couldn't just say, "Hey, there's some stuff in Jump about it!"
If I recall correctly, it was made out to be some super-secret inside-information, and not something that anyone could just grab off the shelf... which it was.
It was purely an ego thing that warranted none of that.

No, but he was the product of a tacky one-night-stand and the bastard child of a popular character (two, really, but hey).

Which has nothing to do with what SSJ Rambo said.

Yeah, considering it's evident he eventually would admit some sort of mutual-loving relationship between the Vegeta and the Bulma.

Found it on that
site.
That's really cool; we need to get a full image of that scan so that someone here can translate it. If anyone knows Spanish it would be great if they could take the time to contact him.
The site isn't in Spanish, I think it's in French

So Vegeta and Bulma are gonna be visibly loving in this special? Or am I misreading your post?

He was just explaining to him that the whole part about Toriyama not putting in stuff about a bastard child was completely farce, in fact it was a huge part of DBZ with a character he created, Trunks.

No this would be after Namek when Vegeta stole Dr.Briefs space ship. Unless it was filler, then nevermind. It all bleeds together now.

Could someone please please please translate the text on this image! I'm dying to know why Goku's wearing a suit with an overly large ascot attached. X3
