They're dividing the books into 40 something pages, as stated, they're not doing 7 64 page books. Why can't you see you're making no sense?LeprikanGT wrote:Ok, 2x2 = 4 books but I DO remember someone somewhere saying the font will be bigger. Not saying thats the definitive reason They have enough for 7 books; but they would need 1 for each box anyways.

I conducted a little experiment to see what was the case with the Dragon Box, and it's not looking too bad considering that many of the people who watch my videos are "Bruce Faulconer-FUNimation-Raging Blast" type. This is nothing to draw any conclusions from but still thought it was interesting.

How can someone be a 'Raging Blast' type if its not even out yet.
I happen to @#$%^&* LOVE the Faulconer music and I will forever, but that doesnt make me NOT a hardcore fan, it just makes me a fan that doesnt like the Japanese music and voices.
And YES I'm buying the DragonBox the day it comes out; just as I've bought all the other DBZ DVDs that have been put out.

Oh believe me, there are many 'Raging Blast' types, regardless whether the game is out or not. When I said that I wasn't trying to be offensive or anything, that's just honestly what they are, I mean they're worshipping Raging Blast, they like the dub more, they like Bruce Faulconer's music more, etc. Nothing wrong with that, but it is interesting to see the results with that in mind anyways.LeprikanGT wrote:How can someone be a 'Raging Blast' type if its not even out yet.

Cool beans. Let's rephrase this. I don't like using this term, but what this implies (again, not to a drawing conclusions extent) is that "casual" fans are increasingly showing some support for this release.RoarkVegeta wrote:Sorry, but, that makes no since at all.ShinRogafuken wrote:Oh believe me, there are many 'Raging Blast' types, regardless whether the game is out or not. I didn't want to use the term, but its hard to explain who it is the people who are commenting...seriously...Freeza.exe wrote:Wow you guys are still doing this whole "true fan" thing? Are you being intentionally dense, or do you have extensive research that all dub fans have looked up the Japanese version and made an informed opinion about the differences between it and the FUNi dub, and ultimately chose the FUNi dub as the better show? I'd love for you to share your control groups.Freeza.exe wrote:Wow you guys are still doing this whole "true fan" thing? I'd love to see this kind of devotion to other crappy 80's cartoon shows. Or do you not have any of that, and for some reason decided the more obvious answer, that a majority prefer the dub because it's in English and don't really care what was hacked and slashed, wasn't worth giving a little more thought?
Rationalizations are fun.

It's a fucking childrens cartoon show not deep political opinions. Who cares if they are going to buy this dumb box set. Who cares if dub fans want to see an English version of this stupid cartoon program. You people keep acting like Dragonball is some sort of secret club that only the coolest of cool kids may join. You don't hear He-man enthusiasts bitching about this dumb shit. "YOU BOUGHT THE SPANISH VERSION OF HE-MAN!? PFFFT WELL I GUESS YOU'LL NEVER KNOW THE TRUE GENIUS OF THIS SHOW." This isn't some Shakespearean play it has no honor to defend, It's a cartoon will you people stop arguing over the most trivial shit I've ever seen.ShinRogafuken wrote:I didn't want to use the term, but its hard to explain who it is the people who are commenting...seriously...Freeza.exe wrote:Wow you guys are still doing this whole "true fan" thing? Edit: This can go for the dude above me too.

You're right...it is trivial...but isn't this whole forum trivial?Freeza.exe wrote:It's a fucking childrens cartoon show not deep political opinions. Meh, don't know why I start arguments, oh well. Guess I need to choose my words better. Sorry.

There's a difference between talking about a cartoon from the 80's and bitching about what shade of brown is best suited for He-mans loin cloth.ShinRogafuken wrote:You're right...it is trivial...but isn't this whole forum trivial?Freeza.exe wrote:It's a fucking childrens cartoon show not deep political opinions. Exactly what are people even arguing about at this point?
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?
