They're dividing the books into 40 something pages, as stated, they're not doing 7 64 page books. Why can't you see you're making no sense?

How exactly does 'Bigger font = More Space to take up' not make sense?

Because they don't want to take up more room, or else they'd need to add more pages.

Also, you're making me want to hit you. :x

Well thats polite.

Also have you SEEN some of the tiny JP font that are in those books?
Quite tiny. I'm sure they will alter the size in some sort. Either way, Japanese text doesnt match up with the English text; so one of them is bound to take up more space.

I conducted a little experiment to see what was the case with the Dragon Box, and it's not looking too bad considering that many of the people who watch my videos are "Bruce Faulconer-FUNimation-Raging Blast" type. This is nothing to draw any conclusions from but still thought it was interesting.

How can someone be a 'Raging Blast' type if its not even out yet.

I happen to @#$%^&* LOVE the Faulconer music and I will forever, but that doesnt make me NOT a hardcore fan, it just makes me a fan that doesnt like the Japanese music and voices.

And YES I'm buying the DragonBox the day it comes out; just as I've bought all the other DBZ DVDs that have been put out.

Oh believe me, there are many 'Raging Blast' types, regardless whether the game is out or not. When I said that I wasn't trying to be offensive or anything, that's just honestly what they are, I mean they're worshipping Raging Blast, they like the dub more, they like Bruce Faulconer's music more, etc. Nothing wrong with that, but it is interesting to see the results with that in mind anyways.

I like it b/c it just makes the show more dramatic and kick *ss to me.

And why would anyone now-a-days buy any earlier versions if the Faulconer music and the dub are in all the new ones.

What exactly is a 'Ragin Blast' type?

Cool beans. Let's rephrase this. I don't like using this term, but what this implies (again, not to a drawing conclusions extent) is that "casual" fans are increasingly showing some support for this release.

I'm looking forward to Raging Blast and I'm a fan of the dub, apparently I'm a second-class fan. Nothing like the superior Japanese-only/Raging Blast haters. :P

Are you being intentionally dense, or do you have extensive research that all dub fans have looked up the Japanese version and made an informed opinion about the differences between it and the FUNi dub, and ultimately chose the FUNi dub as the better show? I'd love for you to share your control groups.

Or do you not have any of that, and for some reason decided the more obvious answer, that a majority prefer the dub because it's in English and don't really care what was hacked and slashed, wasn't worth giving a little more thought?

Rationalizations are fun.

It's a fucking childrens cartoon show not deep political opinions. Who cares if they are going to buy this dumb box set. Who cares if dub fans want to see an English version of this stupid cartoon program. You people keep acting like Dragonball is some sort of secret club that only the coolest of cool kids may join. You don't hear He-man enthusiasts bitching about this dumb shit. "YOU BOUGHT THE SPANISH VERSION OF HE-MAN!? PFFFT WELL I GUESS YOU'LL NEVER KNOW THE TRUE GENIUS OF THIS SHOW." This isn't some Shakespearean play it has no honor to defend, It's a cartoon will you people stop arguing over the most trivial shit I've ever seen.

Edit: This can go for the dude above me too.

You're right...it is trivial...but isn't this whole forum trivial?

Meh, don't know why I start arguments, oh well. Guess I need to choose my words better. Sorry.

There's a difference between talking about a cartoon from the 80's and bitching about what shade of brown is best suited for He-mans loin cloth.

Exactly what are people even arguing about at this point?
