What, got no cookies with the milk today?
I agree with that it's impossible what Goku would have gotten that much power from all the beaten-to-pulp allies of his.
If we say that Brolly is 400 in power, given the huge differences and that noone could scratch him, I would guess that they all were 100 in power, except for Goku that lasted longer and should be 150.
SSJ Brolly: 200
LSSJ Brolly: 400
SSJ Goku: 150
SSJ Gohan: 100
SSJ Vegeta: 100
SSJ Trunks: 100
Piccolo: 100
So, we have a Brolly that hasn't got even scratched or exhausted.
Just prior to the TOEI-punch, I think the powers had gone down to the following:
LSSJ Brolly: 400
SSJ Goku: 50
SSJ Gohan: 20
SSJ Vegeta: 20
SSJ Trunks: 20
Piccolo: 20
Summing the heroes' power would give a mere 130 in power. Even if they were double the strength they wouldn't be able to scratch Brolly.
I guess Goku caught him off-guard.
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

Goku multiplied by 50x the power Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo gave to him. It is the only plausible explanation... besides Broly is a pussy and Goku is freaking retard and was holding back.

Well, kind of but not really. Daizenshuu 10 has a chart showing the "geneology" of the different forms of Super Saiyan seen in the anime (so it includes Broli's forms, although not Pseudo-SSJ from DBZ movie 4). Regular Super Saiyan is at the top, Super Saiyan 2 in the middle, and Super Saiyan 3 at the bottom. Then all the variations are shown as side branches coming off of that main trunk. Broli's various forms are placed between SSJ and SSJ2. However, there's nothing anyway on the chart saying that the position of the different forms has anything to do with strength; all that's said is that the chart shows the evolution of Super Saiyan.

Interesting. Where does it put LSSJ in regards to USSJ and USSJ2? Between, after, or before?

According to Broly himself, but this is right when his power "explodes" in a big dramatic shiny moment, so one could argue it stopped growing as of that moment.

Does it depict the evolution of the forms as they were thought up by their creators, or is it by appearance? Even though you said that power has nothing to do with the listing some will most likely bring this issue up later in order to say that it was focusing on power.

I always thought of Broli as the Dragonworld version of the Hulk. With the Hulk his power increases the angrier he got but in Broli case the more he engages in combat the more Ki he could access.
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.
