Ten paused as he passed Chaozu's room; The door was partly open.

Chaozu was standing in front of his closet mirror, apparently admiring himself. Ten didn't move. He knew what was coming and his heart was racing because of it. Indeed, the small man's clothes were discarded in quick fashion. Ten knew he should be leaving... but he could not bear to tear himself away from such a lovely sight.

Feelings both familiar and new flooded Ten as he gazed upon Chaozu's sculpted body. A body like that of a Greek god...

Argh, sorry Dark Vegeta-Sama, but your post was accidentally deleted. So I'm quoting it here for posterity.

Either 9 or 10 at the start. Whichever you believe to be correct. I believe some error was made which doesn't set her age in cement or something. Likewise Bra is either 9 or 10 depending on how you view it. If Pan is 9, then Bra is 10, and if Bra is 9 then Pan is 10.
Bra was definitely intended to be a teenager in GT. Just look at the way she dresses. If she really was 10, that's the sluttiest-looking 10-year-old I've ever seen.

I dunno about you, but I think that the bond between Tenshinhan and Chaotzu is sometimes pretty weird

To me, they seem like having a brotherly relationship, with Amigo Ten acting as the big brother and Chaoz as the little brother.
And, yes, brothers can love eachother. Of course I mean non-sexually (I had to write that just in case some Yaoi fangirl got turned on).

To be honest, if I were to write/draw a Yaoi doujin, it would include the hot steaming sexy Amigo Ten and the all-so-innocent and BEEPworthy Chaoz. Location: A bath-house. Plot: They are dirty and have to take a bath after some intense training. The only problem is that there are no towels left...

Everyone stop making Ten and Chaoz gay jokes, you're completely running what was supposed to be my job around here!

I don't want to get into a flame war about Tart... I am Palice (but god do I want to). It's just that I personally don't like the character and it's best just to leave it there and not go into a silly argument about it.

No I can't just leave it there, Palice's a moron! A ditsy female character cut out from the big book of female cliches and not even from one of the good chapters. But from chapter about pretty girls with little brains, paragraph four, line six.

Thank you. I was wondering why I couldn't find it.

But yeah, my point stands. And to expand upon it, it's part of why I've never considered DBGT to only be 5 years after DBZ. Where did that notion come from anyway, the GT Perfect files? Because those things are far from perfect.

Just look at the character designs in GT, particularly the non-Saiyan characters. How could Krillin have gone from looking the way he does at the end of Z into an old man with gray hair in just 5 short years? Why is Pan going out on dates if she's only 9? Why does Bra dress like a hooker if she's only 9 or 10 as well? I mean, I know that Japanese culture is a little more lax when it comes to the sexualization of children in animation, but come on.

I've always seen DBGT as being 10 years later, especially within the context of the show itself. If you actually watch the series, the supposed "5 years later" thing just doesn't add up or work well, in my opinion.

If anyone else wants to provide me with other evidence that states it as being 5 years, feel free to do so. But it's well known that the animation/series books that Toei put out are not the be-all-end-all when it comes to accuracy.

It really is sad how things have gotten so screwed up in fandoms that it's become possible for people to care about each other (siblings, friends, parents and children..) without being assumed to want to have sex with each other.

Anyone else kinda bothered by the fact that the one time where we see #18 really care and show her love for Kuririn happens to be after #17 kills him in GT?

Yep. Isn't that really with most, if not all, love relationships in Dragon Ball?

Well, it's just getting all deep into love stories and all that slushy bullshit really isn't Toriyama's forte.

Greatest thing ever. And probably "true." Of all the revisionist history in DB, the supposed fact that Yamucha was a "playboy" grates on my nerves the most. Was there absolutely anything to ever suggest this in the series? Even after Yamucha got over his fear of women, all we know about Yamucha's and Bulma's fights is that girls thought Yamucha was hot, and Bulma got jealous. Meanwhile, she'd still actively fawn over any hot guy in sight (Blue, adult Goku on occasion). If anyone was unfaithful, it was definitely her. The most defensible position would simply be that her irrational jealousy led her to believe that Yamucha was unfaithful. Otherwise... that's a load of crap, and, like everything else involving this character, Yamucha got totally screwed.

I strongly believe that Pan, Bra, and Marron all became lesbians after GT.
