And I agree with you. The point is the fighter's max possible power. Which is what we are kind of agreeing on.

Initially on Earth, Vegeta > Goku because of Oozaru. After Vegeta gets his tail chopped off, if they both got sensus, Goku > Vegeta because of KKx4.

I think if Goku went off the bat used KKx4 landed a one two on Vegeta which would probably greatly damage him, then followed up with a Kamehameha, Vegeta would be finished instantly. IMO, the reason KKx4 didn't work against Vegeta had more to do with Goku already being weakened by the point and his KKx4 not reaching his full extent. We know KKx3 Goku > Vegeta, but then they match evenly with their blasts, after Goku implies he has lost a shit ton of power from using KKx3. So KKxx4 was just replacing what was lost moreso, than being a true KKx4.


Which is what makes Dragonball so ridicolously stupid, all fights are merely plot device. This whole testing out an opponent is the stupidest crap I have ever heard of in a life or death fight. If your life's on the line, you go all out, and try to kill that mofo. No playing around. But alas, it's just a story, and unrealistic because of that...

Goku did not used the Kaioken 3x (or 4x) from the beggining because he would damage himself with it. It seems he never used to that extend, so he couldn't risk to die before defeating Vegeta.

Also, a 4x Kamehameha couldn't kill Vegeta, in fact the damage over Vegeta was surprisingly low. So I doubt that if Goku wen't all out with it from the beggining would really work.

And as far I know doubling the Kaioken (4x against Vegeta and 20x against Freeza) is limited to a few seconds, just enough time for a Kamehameha. So it's unlikely that Goku should use something like that if he surprass Vegeta with the 3x.

I remember from an earlier topic that someone attributed Vegeta not being utterly dismantled by the KKx4 Kamehameha to Vegeta's own Galick Gun softening the blow. Something of that nature.

I felt like the Kamehameha was at full power when Vegeta was sent to the skies. Also, if using a Kaioken 4x made the difference, it means the Kamehameha was sort of a continuous wave.

Goku couldn't "utterly dismantled" Vegeta for the same reason as Zarbon or Rikum.

Even when Vegeta is revived from Dende, Goku is already majority healed. Goku would pwn Vegeta even if he was taken out of the healing chamber the instant Vegeta was healed.

Goku is already 80-90% healed by the time Vegeta get's that massive zenkai. 100% Goku is above Vegeta by a good margin, and 80-90% of Goku's power is already around Vegeta, not to mention KKx20 on top of that.


So Vegeta is stronger than Goku until he loses his tail, and then from the Androids Saga to the Cell Saga...

What's the point of bringing that up? Vegeta's tail does not grow back. So it's irrelevant for this type of discussion. If Vegeta's tail did grow back, sure we would have something to discuss regarding that, seeing as how it never did, it is irrelevant.
