Question, how do you take a screenshot of an episode? I've got a pretty good one from the DBZ episode called "The Losses Begin".

I'm surprised nobody has tossed up "Vegeta The Third" (otherwise known as Yogi Bear Vegeta.) I'm pretty forgiving but I find it astounding a group of professionals made shots like those two. It's not like "Oh, his face is scrunched up or a tad too high" it's more like "Have you seen Goku and Vegeta before?"

Gosh, I meant to throw this one up earlier.

Why do you refer to this one as "Yogi Bear Vegeta"? He doesn't look close to him. Although I do agree he looks a lot like Lupin.

Do you have a Media Player Classic or a VLC player in your computer?

In VLC, pause where you want to take a screenshot. Then right click and go under video. In the video section there should be a snapshot function.

By going out and buying one of the readily available DVD's instead of taking a screenshot of a Cartoonnetwork ripped copy. Apologies if the DVD's are somehow not readily available to you.

What if I already happen to have the DVD's in question, and don't feel like going through all the trouble of setting up recording equipment and all of that? I mean, even if I did all of that, the basic result is still the same, i.e., a screenshot of an Episode, right?

They are, and I've been steadily saving up money to buy all of them to support the official release. I've already collected Seasons 3, 5, and 7 so far. 8 will be the very next one I buy.

Well, I did some digging and found that screen shot was taken from a VLC player on May 2 - just 9 minutes before it was posted in this forum. That means you took this shot for this thread. So if this is your picture, you have VLC player and know you don't need to set up recording equipment. Just right click - take screenshot. On that note, why would you need to set up recording equipment to take ANY screen shot from a DVD playing on your computer?!

It's not like I went looking for that information but, I wanted to see the properties of the image to answer your "how do I make it bigger" question. I wanted to see if your pic was at the full resolution or if the hosting site you had the image on makes the image smaller when posting it on a forum.

...Wait, you can play DVD's on your computer? I thought you had to take a camera to your room, record what was playing on the T.V., and then upload that into your computer?

And the reason I knew how to use VLC was because somebody in this thread showed me how. Again, I never realized Computers could play DVD. And yes, this is a picture that I took. That was why I asked how to record snapshots with VLC Player, because this was the picture I wanted to take.
