I made this thread for people to post images of the times when the artist for Dragonball/Z/GT/Kai drew something that looks like sometime an 8 year old would draw. I'll start off.
What the hell happened to Freeza's face...

P.S. If theres a thread already like this, Please lock it.

Hmm.... Freeza's face looks somewhat mushed.
I also discovered something similar. In
Kai episode 45, when Goku was in the water being pushed down by Freeza and Goku thought about his friends and how he couldn't die there, his face seemed a little.... unusual to me. I believe it was broadcast on Toonzai this Saturday.

Castor Troy waved his magic wand and created a site with a similar idea to what you're doing now. There is a section called "Awkward Frames From the Animation Itself".
Check it out you might like it!

I don't want to be a wet blanket, but let me say this. I always find this kind of topic silly and unproductive. In-between animations are always like that. They were originally not intended to look good. They are just not worth pointing out.
I especially hate cavil like these:
http://kamevision.3gkai.com/awkward-fra ... 74.png.php
http://kamevision.3gkai.com/awkward-fra ... 89.png.php
They are long, so what? The animator (actually, Shimanuki Masahiro) must have drawn them long purposely to make them look dynamic with fewer frames. It's not because of his ineptness at all. I think that it is really ridiculous and rude to make fun of this kind of animation style by showing images frame-by-frame.

Just so you know, my cap with sharp-face Freeza isn't an in-between animation, it's actually a 5 second scene that gets repeated a few times

Well, I don't wanna speak for KameVision as a whole but I think we're well aware these shot's aren't suppose to look great. We aren't pointing them out because we wanna ridicule the animator. For me, it was because I'm pretty interested in animation, mostly hand drawn animation. I would play the fight scenes one frame at a time sometimes just to see how they animated it or what shortcuts they took. I'd post some up on Twit Pic at times because some are just funny to look at. That's all it was, just a curiosity that I found out Castor shared with me.

My drowning Goku is not an in-between either, just so you know.

I don't think the first one is particularly bad... it just looks like he's scrunched up his face.

I remember watching the Piccolo Jr arc of Dragonball, and I remember in one scene Chi-Chi was cross-eyed.
I'll try to find a picture if I can't, Unless someone else wants to post that for me.

All the things you say is true, of course. That fight scene in particular looked awesome. I remember when I watched it for the first time in awe, and I have to be honest and say that it's one of my favorite fighting scenes.
But all that doesn't take away from that those two certain frames by themselves look funny. And that's the humor.
