I don't doubt that and welcome it. In fact, if there was a doujinshi of this I would read the heck of it.

Update: Piccolo Edition!
Supersonic Warriors - Piccolo's Story
- Piccolo defeats Freeza after merging with Nail.
- Defeats #20.
- Merges with Kami and defeats #18.
- Cell appears, absorbs #17 and #18, defeats everyone, hosts Cell Game.
- After training in the Room of Spirit and Time he realizes his power is still not enough.
- Teams up with Goku to defeat Cell, Goku holds him in a full nelson and Piccolo kills both with the Makankosappo (again).
- Buu appears and Piccolo confronts and defeats him. Kills Babidi too for good measure.
- Buu reforms and goes back to rampaging.
- Searching for a way to defeat Buu, Piccolo travels to Namek and wishes for Piccolo Daimao's soul to be brought to Namek and for him to be revived.
- Piccolo defeats King Piccolo and merges with him, finally becoming complete and attaining a great power.
- Piccolo confronts Buu, but still can't defeat him.
- Unable to defeat Buu, Piccolo resorts to using the Mafuba to seal Buu.
- After some time, Gotenks breaks into this reality's Room of Spirit and Time and unseals Buu.
- Together with Piccolo they defeat Buu. Gotenks then returns to his own reality.
Supersonic Warriors 2 - Piccolo's Story
- Piccolo spars with Gohan to train for the Saiyan battle.
- Piccolo dies against Nappa, is ressurected and brought to Namek, fuses with Nail.
- Piccolo, Gohan and Kuririn fight Freeza, they're still not enough but Goku arrives and saves the day.
- The Artificial Humans appear and Piccolo joins the fight. Him and Gohan fight 20.
- Piccolo goes to Kami's Palace and fuses with Kami, but not before sparring with him first.
- When Piccolo comes back he finds that Cell is already around and in his second form. Cell defeats him though (although this is supposed to be his first form).
- 18 and 17 appear at Kame House and challenge Piccolo for information on Goku.
- Cell absorbs 17 whilst Piccolo was fighting against 18. Piccolo kills 18 to avoid Cell from absorbing her.
Alternate Path:
- Cell lays low for a while gaining power and plotting. He attempts to gather the Dragon Balls to wish for 18 back.
- He secretly speaks with Vegeta and asks to borrow his spaceship in order to go to Namek and use the Namekian Dragon Balls to fulfill his wish. He taunts Vegeta, asking him if he wants to fight his perfect body (no homo). [This plan is retarded]
- Piccolo senses Vegeta's excitement (no homo) and confronts him. They fight and he defeats Vegeta, but too late since Cell is already going.
- Piccolo and Gohan head to Namek as well, only to find Coola there trying to gather the Dragon Balls as well. Vegeta is following them.
- Piccolo and Gohan confront Coola and defeat him. Cell is already there and uses Dende as a hostage to steal the Dragon Balls.
- Cell and Coola join forces to gather all the Dragon Balls, planning to betray eachother eventually. Vegeta's ship arrives. [The plan is still retarded]
- Piccolo and Gohan decide to raid Coola's ship and kill him, Vegeta wants to do things on his own.
- Meanwhile Cell managed to gather all the Dragon Balls and get his wish because he somehow learned the Namekian language, he proceeds to absorb 18 and reach his perfect form.
- Piccolo, Gohan and Vegeta join forces to defeat him. They combine their strongest ki blasts and destroy Cell.
- Babidi appears, unleashes Buu, yadda yadda. Piccolo and Gotenks fight against him.
Harukanaru Densetsu - Piccolo's Story Part 1
1 - Goku Faces the Saiyans.
Same shit as always.
2 - Beyond the Limits! Solitary Training!
Piccolo fights some dinossaurs for a warm up.
Then he fights a copy of himself.
3 - Piccolo's Resolve! I'll Protect Gohan!
Fight against the Saibaiman, yadda yadda.
Piccolo dies as usual.
4 - Z Fighters' Marathon
The dead guys take on the Snake Way.
Yamcha comments that Kaio never took these many students at once.
Piccolo is annoyed at their babbling and starts going.
That last little interaction between him and the others was the only thing interesting in Piccolo's Story. That plan Cell came up with was stupid but it somehow worked. Coola got shoehorned in for no reason, Cell inexplicably learns the Namekian language, the plan works anyway and then the heroes kill him the same way they killed Hatchiyack. Stupid and boring story. Piccolo's version of the Buu Arc is very good.

Yeah like I said, it's a retarded plan that could have gone wrong in many different ways. That it actually works only makes the whole story retarded.

Update: Gohan Edition!
Supersonic Warriors
Gohan arrives to help on the fight against the Artificial Humans, only to find Goku collapsing due to the heart disease. This prompts him to become a Super Saiyan (and also to grow a year older according to the games sprites). With his new power Gohan defeats #18, but Gero escapes. Meanwhile Goku dies due to the heart disease.
A few days later Gohan finds Geros lab. Gero fights against him, empowered with the energy he stole from Goku. Gohan kills Gero but not before he gives the ominous remark that one day his greatest masterpiece will kill Gohan.
A few days after Gero is defeated Cell appears and declares the Cell Game (that was fast).
Piccolo spars with Gohan in the Room of Spirit and Time in order to get him to unleash his full potential. Gohan and Piccolo attend the Cell Game and team up against Cell but are still no match. Cell kills Piccolo and this prompts Gohan to go all the way and beat Cell. Unfortunately he revives and powers up for a massive Kamehameha. Gohan turns Super Saiyan 2, powers his and destroys Cell for good.
A few years pass and Babidi appears and takes control of Vegeta. Gohan fights against him and the fight awakens Buu. Vegeta knocked Gohan out, fought Buu and died. Gohan came to and challenged Buu as well. After all of Gohans efforts Buu kept regenerating and delt a final blow to Gohan. Luckily he was saved by East Kaioshin and taken to the Kaioshin Kai.
Gohan trained there and surpassed his limits. On Earth Buu transformed into Evil Buu. Meanwhile Goku visited Gohan on the Kaioshinkai and spared with him as a form of training and rite of passage. After this Gohan returns to Earth and finally destroys Buu.
Some time later, Piccolo returns thanks to Baba to spar one last time with Gohan.
Supersonic Warriors 2
Gohan is training with Goku in the Room of Spirit and Time, they spar and stuff. He turns Super Saiyan, Goku comments that he's a Super Saiyan with Piccolo's skill.
Afterwards we jump straight into the main fight. Cell is bored so he farts out Cell Juniors to fight the Z-Warriors and enrage Gohan, prompting him to go Super Saiyan 2 and beat the shit out of him. Smart move, as always. Cell still self-destructs and Goku sacrifices himself. Cell comes back but Gohan destroys him with a Kamehameha.
Alternate Path 1
Trunks arrives and recruits Gohan to go with him to the future since Cell has appeared and gone berserk. As they arrive, somehow 18 is there, Gohan and Trunks fight and defeat her but Cell absorbs her and then goes after 17. With his new power he easily defeats and absorbs him too.
Still, Gohan and Trunks join forces and overpower Cell, killing him.
After that they go to Gero's lab to make sure no other Cell or Artificial Human comes. Once there they find that the computer has been making copies of 20, so Gohan and Trunks have to fight a bunch of them. Gohan destroys the Gero's, the computer and the lab with one Kamehameha.
He then returns to his time.
Alternate Path 2
Gohan is now 16 and attending Orange Star School. Coola came to Earth and swats Videl away (He doesn't seem to have any other reason to come to Earth in the first place, I guess Videl just really pissed him off). Gohan arrives and easily defeats him. After that Videl convinces him to join the Tenkaichi Budokai.
Gohan, Videl, Goten and Trunks go training in an icy region. The kids go exploring and find a lab, in the lab Broli finds them and goes berserk! But Gohan defeats him.
Babidi appears, steals Gohan's energy and revives Buu, who promptly fights Gohan. Gohan shoots a kamehameha at Buu to finish him but instead this makes him transform to Evil Buu. He rampages and stuff and next thing Gohan is at the Kaioshin Kai training. There he spars with Goku as part of his training and rite of passage, like the previous game.
With his new found power he's pretty confident he can defeat Buu. Returning to Earth, Piccolo, Goten and Trunks have been holding Buu off. Gohan fights and defeats Buu.
Some time passes and another Tenkaichi Budokai is held, Videl once again convinces Gohan to enter, even though they've got exams. Gohan fights Vegeta on the first round. The End.
Alternate Path 3
Gohan, Goku and Piccolo defeat Buu when he first appears. With Buu defeated, Babidi resorts to controlling Piccolo's mind and send him against his friends. Piccolo ignores Babidi's orders and kills him, rejoicing in the fact that he is once again Piccolo Daimao, claiming to be Dabra and Buu's boss. Goku says his time is up so he leaves. Piccolo attacks Gohan with Dabra and Buu.
Gohan defeats them and tries to reason with Piccolo to no avail. He flees promissing to return stronger.
Piccolo demands that Buu; who is now in his Evil form; give him is power. Piccolo absorbs Buu's power and becomes immensely strong. He then appears on TV claiming his rise to power and challenging anyone who dares to face him. He also brings back Freeza and Cell (somehow) to team up with him. Gohan and Vegeta team up to defeat them all. They defeat him and he apparently regains his senses. In the end both Piccolo and Gohan are seen training Videl, Trunks and Goten in Kami's Palace. All is well.
Harukanaru Densetsu
Gohan's Story Part 1
1 - Gohan's Harsh Training
Gohan trains with Piccolo. Defeats some dinosaurs, yadda yadda.
2 - An Adventure in Search of the Dragon Balls (AKA: Oh boy! Another one of those!)
Gohan is on an errand for Piccolo (going to the supermarket for bread and milk perhaps?) and he bumps into Kuririn and they have a chat. Basically ammounts to the same chat they had when they met up to fight the Saiyans. Kuririn also says he's been looking for the Dragon Balls but there are some missing so he asks if Gohan can do it. Goku had previously found two so they were at his house, and then there was the one in Gohan's hat, Kuririn took those three to the Kame House.
Gohan found three more and took them to Mutenroshi, with one missing the Dragon Radar stopped working. Gohan goes to Bulma's house to get it fixed, only to find that the Radar wasn't broken in the first place (somehow they didn't realize this even though it should have been picking up on the other six anyway).
Baba it is. She was already waiting for him, being a fortuneteller and all. Baba gathered strong warriors in advance to fight Gohan. First one is Chaozu. He says he won't go easy on Gohan!(Despite the fact that his success will determine the fate of the Earth.) Next up is Yamcha. (Yay, Yamcha!) Next one is Kuririn! (So he dumped the Dragon Ball search on you only to stand in your way of completing it, what a fucking asshole). He reveals that all the warriors here have been gathered as part of their training for the Saiyans. Gohan explains the whole deal to Kuririn, with the missing Dragon Ball and all that. (He fully understands but fights you anyway. I love video-game logic.) Tenshinhan follows, that's all there is to that.
And so we reach the final opponent who is (WHAT THE FUCK?) Raditz! Baba brought Raditz back to fight Gohan. (Because bringing a ruthless killer back to life to fight an infant is a plan that can't possibly go wrong.)
Anyway, Baba "devines" that the last Dragon Ball has been swallowed by a dinosaur (who must have a lead coated stomach), Gohan comments that he's already late returning to Piccolo but he'll do it anyway. So Gohan beats the dinosaur until he burps the Yi Xing Qiu out, literally.
With the last Dragon Ball, Gohan returns to the Kame House, Kuririn's already there. He hands the Dragon Balls and returns to Piccolo. Mutenroshi is impressed by Gohan's devotion to his training, comparing too... Someone... (Someone who's right next to him and goes for a walk as soon as his master mentions devotion to training. Kuririn is a piece of shit in this game.)
So there you have it folks. A somewhat different retelling of the Artificial Humans arc. Some silly adventures with past enemies, a somewhat cool way of showing "Majin" Piccolo (could we call him Demon King of Destruction since Vegeta is the Prince of Destruction?) albeit with some unexplained silliness in between. And yet another way of showing us how they gathered the Dragon Balls for Goku. Two things cool about that last one is the fact that they actually consider the three balls that Goku found previously, unlike Attack of the Saiyans, and the fact that Raditz is back, although I would prefer if he had mellowed down only slightly due to the Snake Princess's influence; otherwise, like I said, doesn't make sense to bring a ruthless killer who was defeated not so long ago and with such sacrifice. I really disliked Kuririn's attitude though.
I'm not sure how many more of the Supersonic Warriors since there are a ton of them and they are mostly boring. Supersonic Warriors 2 at least looks better. Harukanaru is long and follows the original story very closely but it has got these little things here and there and at least it only follows four characters so I'll keep doing that one.

Wow, that's actually interesting. o_O
Supersonic Warriors: Goku AND Piccoro die?? That really sucks for Gohan.
Supersonic Warriors 2:
Alternate Path 1... I always wondered why Trunks didn't took Goku to the future with him right from the start to try to stop the Andriods. I'm sure Goku wouldn't mind to spend another year training in the future waiting for the machine to charge up. Future Chichi and Future Bulma would have loved to see him again.
Alternate Path 2: Coola AND Broly. xD
Alternate Path 3: WOOAAAH. This is some good stuff right here.
Harukanaru Densetsu: LOL RADITZ. Makes me wonder why the hell Uranai Baba didn't brought back Goku and Gohan to help Trunks defeat the androids on the original timeline.

Yeah that third alternate path is cool but it has many inexplicable things, such has, why does Buu follow Piccolo? How did Piccolo absorb Buu's power? How did he bring Freeza and Cell back to life?

Nice work DNA. Do you plan on doing the PS2 video games?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
Re: DNA's game alternate stories analysis
Yes, but it will be a long time from now. At the moment I don't have a working system that would allow me to play PS2 effectively. All I have is a small TV that outputs my PS2 in black and white, god knows why. Also I don't have that much time, have many other priorities at the moment. I can dedicate a little time for these, but not the amount of time needed to effectively play and record the stories of the PS2 games.
Also I'm going to pause this for now and try to get another filler arc done today, I might pick this up next week or the week after, we'll see how it goes.
Opinion time! Do you guys want me to continue Supersonic Warriors? Like I said, there's way too many stories and they're all pretty repetitive and uninteresting, so far the best thing out of this was the Piccolo Jr. absorbing Piccolo Daimao. Opinions?
And what's with the thousand views with only a few dozen comments man? :( sad times!

I would prefer something else personally, since not only I've played the game, but I can find the whole thing on YouTube as well (I could post them if you want). But your project, your decision.DNA wrote:Do you guys want me to continue Supersonic Warriors?

Well, let's do it this way, since you've played the game, is there actually any other interesting story from another character within the game? Like I said, the only one so far is Piccolo's Buu Arc.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:I would prefer something else personally, since not only I've played the game, but I can find the whole thing on YouTube as well (I could post them if you want). Kuririn learn Kaio-ken & Genki Dama from Goku. And Dr. Gero's story ends with him wanting to upgrade Perfect Cell with even more cells, and also Freeza getting immortality. I don't remember anything more interesting. I could search YouTube for a complete walkthrough, maybe tomorrow. I had found one some months ago, I hope I can find it again. I could search for more video game's videos if you want, in case you can't do some games.DNA wrote:Well, let's do it this way, since you've played the game, is there actually any other interesting story from another character within the game? Re: DNA's game alternate stories analysis
Well, I found a complete walkthrough of the whole game separated in small videos but there are more than a hundred of them. That's what I've been watching, not actually playing the game, but I'm losing my patience already.
Anyone feel free if you want:

I'm happy with just pointing out the best alternate stories rather than fishing through a hundred videos looking for them.

Re: DNA's game alternate stories analysis
Oh, thanks! You saved me some time. I was planing to search for them either way, since I was gonna start collecting what-if/filler videos on my PC, and fill those that I can't find with your analysis, and everything you have written here are the ones that I don't need to look for.

Re: DNA's game alternate stories analysis
I'm super sorry for the hiatus, and for the fact that this is not a true update but just an announcement: I might be able to start on Budokai 3 soon.
Like my signature says, I've been extremely busy at work, many hours and many days per week. My days off are for relaxing and doing everything else that been postponed (including movie watching ^^').
I'm having more time recently, including; like I said, days off; so in the following weeks I might have more time and I might dedicate it to continuing this. But between this, the filler thread and pages for the future wiki, I get a bit overwhelmed, not to mention everything else I follow, watch, people I talk to, games I play and generally planning my future.
Also Christmas time is coming so I only have a few weeks before I'm super busy again. After January, things should slow down again, so if all else fails, around January I should have time for all this again.
Thanks for your interest and stay tuned!

It's OK, take your time.
