^I think I'm actually one of the few who actually liked Dragon Rush.

I loved how Budokai 2 did things. I loved how things were different and the board game style allowed me to do coop with my brother. I would make it my favourite if the gameplay were just like Budokai 3.
You did that, too? Hahaha, man I remember playing through B2 with my bro. We'd each pick a character before each map. Fun times. :P

My favorite is Tenkaichi 3, followed by a tie between Budokai 2 and Budokai 3, for the reasons mentioned above. The only bad thing about Budokai 2 was Kid Buu being kind of a bitch to beat, but that just made it all the more satisfying when he finally went down.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

I know it's very unlikely to happen, but I'm hoping for a re-release of DBZ: Hyper Dimension on the Super Famicom. Very much like Street Fighter II, but in some ways (particularly juggling physics and comboing) that's good. If it were to happen, I'd suggest Iron Galaxy be responsible for the port, as they made the very good XBLA/PSN port of Street Fighter III, likewise, the GGPO netcode should be used if online multiplayer were to be included.

I like different things about most of the games, but my absolute favorite is Infinite World. Had so much fun with that game, and would play it more if I could play it on my PS3.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

To me, Infinite World always looked like an ok at best Budokai 3 rehash since it used the same UI and game engine, that said, it was the side game that year made only to cater those who didn't have a next-gen system at that point.

I don't particularly care that it was a rehash, though, as it improved upon Budokai 3 a lot and the end result is that it's better than any of the other games we've gotten.

Easily Budokai Tenkaichi 3, followed by Raging Blast 2.
One World. 🌐 🕊

Final Bout has always been my favorite Dragon Ball game. The newer ones are ok, but I like the more arcadey feel of Final Bout.

It's also like the show in that it takes forever to fire a special attack.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Think of this: "DBZ - Invasion of the Saiya-jins".

The setting is FPS.

The premise is that you start off as a Saiya-jin child. You have a low powerlevel.
In the tutorial part, you play as a child. The more parts of the tutorial you do, the taller you are.

Then finally you are 15 and deemed strong enough to join a planet invasion.
You start off by killing endless and endless amounts of lesser lifeforms.
You can fight in close combat with your arms and fists, or spam weaker attacks to kill of the vermin.
The more you grow, the tougher the enemies will be and you will be sent to planets with stronger enemies.

As you fight, your XP bar will grow, and when you reach a higher level, it will show as your powerlevel.

Level 1: 1,000 -- Saiya-jin Low Class
Level 2: 3,000 -- Saiya-jin Middle Class
Level 3: 5,000 -- Saiya-jin High Class
Level 4: 10,000 -- Saiya-jin Elite
Level 5: 20,000 -- Saiya-jin Extraordinaire
Level 6: 50,000 -- Saiya-jin Mutant
Level 7: 200,000 -- Saiya-jin Marvel
Level 8: 1,500,000 -- "Super" Saiya-jin
Level 9: 3,000,000: Super Saiya-jin [SSJ transformation unlocked].

You will go on mission after mission. Between the missions your contempt towards Freeza will grow.
But remember, you will never see the identity of your character.
You will kill off Nameks, kill off the Yadrats, and even destroy Earth (where you will fight against Goku, Piccolo and the humans together with Raditz).

At level 6, you are forced to flee due to Freeza wanting your head. This is where your Saiya-jin missions stop.
From this time and forward, you spend your time killing off Freeza's troops in his bases, fighting stronger and stronger opponents.
You will ally with Vegeta and Nappa, until you and Vegeta decide that Nappa is more useful dead. Raditz has already died in a mission underestimating his opponents.

When you reach 3,000,000, you finally meet Freeza head on, and finally transform into SSJ after being beat down by his fourth form and seeing Vegeta killed brutally.
When you have defeated Freeza, you will leave your first person view slowly, into a cutscene. You can finally see who you are.

You are Tarble.
At least an alternate universe one.

I feel like a budokai 4 or infinite world 2 could be the best dragon ball game with all characters from dragon ball heroes (except avatars or what-ifs leave that so the arcade game can have some difference still) and burst limit graphics. Ultimate attacks from budokai 3 and w bakuretsu impact.
