Hell, the Transformers Animated AllSpark Almanac, which is basically a Daizenshuu, was going for over $1000 at one point.

God I'm so glad I bought mine close to two years ago off of Amazon for around $20. If only I had bought more...

I got mine July 2011 on RightStuf for $29.99 (plus a few bucks for shipping). I'm glad I did.

This shit is ridiculous. On one side I'm glad I got something that's considered rare and collectible now, but on the other, I want DBZ fans to enjoy the Dboxes just like me.

I simply dont understand why this particular box was underprinted as opposed to the others. There's really nothing special about the episodes in Dbox 2 except for the Ginyu Force fights.

I still don't believe that Dragon Box 2 had a more limited print run than the other boxes, rather since it is the only release which featured a completely uncut version of the Namek saga which resulted in it selling out before any of the other sets. Other releases were either edited (the dub only Pioneer DVDs and the Kai iteration) or DNRed to hell and cropped (the season sets).

So, until the issues surrounding a Blu-ray release are worked out, Dragon Box 2 is a rarity for DBZ on home video as the only place to get those episodes as they were meant to be seen.

And to think, you can get complete 153 episodes of MMPR for just 80$ Only explanation i have, is that Dbox2 episodes in Orange Bricks look horrendous, even by OB standards.

Wow. I love Dragonball Z to death but this is pretty interesting as I'm severely strapped for cash courtesy of a college education (student loans). Getting $500 instantly could solve a few problems. But that would make my Dragon box incomplete

I'm constantly kicking myself for skipping over things, and the Dragon Boxes are the latest example of this. (Latest in the sense that I just recently decided I want them) When they came out, I figured, "Eh, I already have a couple of the orange bricks, why should I waste money re-buying the same episodes?" Poor, deluded fool.

I was able to find 1 and 3-7 cheaply and quickly, but I was even quicker to realize I wouldn't be owning 2 anytime soon. Ah, well. Someday it'll either be reissued (fat chance) or I'll find it in a discount store that doesn't know its worth (fatter chance) or I'll eventually go so OCD-crazy over the hole in my collection that I'll blow $200 in an eBay auction.

I'm just glad I bought all of them when they each came out. I'd have figured it would be Box 3 not 2 that would be the one that was insanely marked up. But I should have know it would be the episodes they boched up the most in the orange box.
