Sounds similar with Piccolo Daimao & Piccolo, where Piccolo is Piccolo Daimao, but also Piccolo Daimao's son.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Anime or not, the Western Kaioshin definitely had something that I don't have and how can they be perverts sometimes when they don't seem to have any sexual interest (which should be because of them having no gender)?
Well, the Elder Kaioshin's pervyness could be attributed to him fusing with the witch.

I thought Akira Toriyma himself said that they sometimes are just like this. And in the Anime the Kaioshin actually was Roshi-like with a magazine right before the fusion.

Here about the gods in general (so Kaio, Dai Kaio, Kaioshin, et cetera):
Akira Toriyama Q&A
They’re pretty mischievous for important gods!
Though gods are supposed to be transcendent beings, this lot have pervy interests, are fond of driving, etc… do they somehow feel human and familiar?"
i mean it still can be because of the fusion but considering the anime it can't.

That's what it stands for, full stop (he thinks, probably). It's not like "M stands for 魔, and 魔 is short for 魔導師/madoushi" or anything like that. The M just stands for 魔 (he thinks, probably), meaning magic/demon.
Yeah, that was my mistake. Sorry about that. I just skimmed it without actually comprehending what he said. I got all caught up with the fact that "魔" was the beginning of both "Madoshi" and "Majin" that I completely forgot that "魔" by itself works just fine as the answer. Glad to finally have confirmation about that. Thanks!

Now's probably as good a time as ever to bring up an amazing true fact that I don't think I've ever gotten around to mentioning before:

So, in Daizenshuu 7's character dictionary, West Kaioshin is described as "the only female Kaioshin". In Chouzenshuu 4's character dictionary, West Kaioshin's entry is exactly the same except she's now described as "the only Kaioshin who appears female".

That really does not make that much fo a difference for me. She has no reproductive organs but is more female than male, the others vice-versa. Freezer is a man and it does not seem obvious, which is okay as he just is no being from earth but the Kaioshin who are also not from Earth have some of those traits but have no gender? That is odd.

Michelle is the feminine form of Michel. The feminine form of Michael is Michaela.
