Toriyama has retconned the original ending once already through the Kanzenban release of the manga.
There's a huge difference between adding 3 new panels tha barely change anything and throwing the entire EOZ out completly to replace it with say, party at Pilaf Palace with Gohan dying from lifting a hand and Uub hooking up with Chi-Chi.

I can see more changes like this too, George Lucas-style insertions, tweaks, more or less controversial. But throwing the entire thing out in full is a stretch to me. I can see them ditching Uub fast in some potential post-EOZ sequel as I think his chance to "take over" the franchise has already long passed 20 years ago (if he ever had any in the first place), but the EOZ mini-arc itself will likely remain in canon more or less.

The only fact we have in Super, is that it takes place more than 6 months after Buu. Thanks Narrator!
Baby Pan appears in ROF and she's 4 years old in EOZ, but nothing tells me they still care about EOZ. So, the timeframe is indeed subjective for now.
Super is changing some things anyway. I need to see until where this is going.
EOZ is the ending of original manga, I'm having hard time believing Toei/Toriyama could disregard it. It's not GT, DB Online, movies or anime-filler. It's considered main core of indisputable 'canon' by majority of fans

That was more like a minor tweak that didn't really pull up any trees but made that particular release extra-special for the hardcore fanbase who invested into it. To create mass upheaval or uproot those chapters entirely to make way for future expansions of the story, however, would be a very different matter, in my opinion.
I am growing to regard the oft-flagrant inconsideration applied with usage and application of the term ''retcon' with much derision.
