Fights (Aspects, Comparisons, Etc.)

On a side note, I actually really enjoyed the 19 episode, [pardon me if the number of episodes are incorrect] battle between Goku and Freeza

It was a full 20. Goku went SSJ right in the middle.


I think pretty much all the fights are good in the manga, but best anime battle has to be SSj2 Goku vs Majin Vegeta. Only problem was they kept interuppting it to watch Supreme Kai standing around or Goten and Trunks taking a bathroom break.

Heh. Goku vs. Vegeta, the rematch, is actually one of my least favorite ones in the whole series.

Both versions of the Goku vs. Vegeta rematch leave a lot to be desired, from my perspective.

The Manga is incredibly short and lacks creative choreagraphy. On the other hand, each missed punch creates a massive burst of wind which can be seen screwing up the landscape severely, which is the first time such an effect is used in the Manga (if I remember correctly). Plus, both fighters attack power greatly outweight their defensive abilities, shown by the fact it takes hardly any time for them to be bloody as heck. Just kinda gets the point across about how strong Super Saiyan level 2 is.

The Anime starts off on an awesome note, but the next episode picks up with terrible animation and fails at showing the difference between Super Saiyan level 1 and Super Saiyan level 2. The battle is dragged out in a lot of unrealistic ways, and they randomly give Vegeta a new, non-existent technique which makes utterly no sense. Plus, it totally messes with the space of time between Gohan and Kaioshin starting towards the last level and the time Majin Boo hatches, which was like...2 minutes, tops.

This is just my take on it...so don't be hatin' me for it.
