How would you feel if Funimation only used dubnames as subs?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

I purely meant that back when we did have a subtitle option showing us the dub dialogue, it was handy for people that wanted to know the actual line verbatim (for documentation, or fan dub script, or whatever) rather than having to try and play it by ear.
I agree, it's very handy for reference purposes, and also posting up screencaps of dialogue on Twitter and whatnot.

We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

I really wish they would just give us the best of both world being subtitles for the Japanese version IN ADDITION to dubtitles like the GT singles have. Depending on the company i'm currently with sometimes I watch the English dub and othertimes I watch the Japanese version, however I don't have very good hearing so it is just so so nice to be able to have the option of not only watching the English dub, but also have subtitles that match the dubbed dialog in case I'm not able to hear something. It's the one thing my GT singles have over my Z Dragon Boxes.
