Why people think Vegetto SSB can beat Beerus or Whis?

You would think that common sense would dictate that if Goku and Vegeta fused as SSJBs, they would be able to annihilate Beerus, considering that the BoG movie established that he had to use 70% of his power to defeat a regular SSJG, in addition to the fact that Whis hypothesized that Goku and Vegeta could defeat Beerus if they teamed up against him in RoF (I can't remember if he mentioned anything like that in Super however). Of course by this point, it's clear that Toriyama is insistent on keeping Beerus far above Goku and Vegeta, so we can probably just assume that Beerus would mop the floor with a hypothetical fusion between SSJB Goku and Vegeta.

Hell, Goku could manage to power up to a Kaioken x1,000,000 as an SSJB, and he would still probably be no match for Beerus.

It was merely my attempt to have some fun. I reread all of my other post and noticed something else. There is a completely lack of continuity within the threads. You'll go in one thread and all of a sudden there's no mention of anything previously. Gone are the days of references to past events and I think they should make a return. Wouldn't you agree?

Why would Potara be less than a 2x or 3x boost? It wouldn't make any sense. If that were the case then it wouldn't have been so crucially needed in the past.

and those numbers were about bog arc, after 1 year of training with whis, a new transformation (ssgblue), and 2 days in the rosat, goku should be AT LEAST on par with beerus.
even if ssjb goku was 6, with kaioken 10x he would beat them both with one shot...
with potare fusion, ssjblue vegitto should be AT LEAST 50

Well, the 6/10/15 scale doesn't count anymore. We've pretty much agreed on that.

That said, it makes absolutely no sense for a Blue Vegito to not be able to beat Beerus. It's obvious that God Goku made Beerus use a significant percentage of his power. Then he trained with Whis for a little while and learned Blue, which is stronger than God. Then, with Blue under his belt, he went in the time chamber for three years and trained. All of this together should make Goku a worthy opponent for Beerus. Blue Kaio-ken Goku should definitely be able to beat him. But we're adding Vegeta to the mix now. Vegeta is just as strong as Goku, so fusing the two together would have to yield a power greater than Beerus' level. Whis is a special case now, since we no longer know his strength. The scale might be 5/10/100 now for all we know. Therefore, it's hard to say with him.
