Has anyone else grown really fond of the Trio de dangers, the 3 wolves of Universe 9?

Just Basil and Bergamo, but the degree to which I hate U9 masks any fondness I have for them by a wide margin. Hope Goku stomps them all within 1-2 episodes, but I won't be mad if they do cool stuff.

Judging by next weeks preview, Vegeta and Goku annihilated Universe 9 this upcoming episode.

Speaking of that, I can't tell if the upcoming unlucky universe will be annihilated on the spot. Ken Xyro seems to be tweeting as if they will be, while GovetaXV's translation is different and less clear about the issue.

I think they might.. Something has to trigger Vegeta to get so angry and anxious to fight U6. I really hope not since it seems a little too ruthless :/

I really like Basil, he is very unique and I love his personality, but I'm not fond about Lavender and Bergamo, they kinda bore me

No, they are all terrible, just generic wolves designs, but, i enjoyed Basil vs Buu. I hope they can get a brutal ending, unfortunately, they can't be killed by other fighters. I would have great pleasure to watch Hitto and Frieza killing them, however, since they are weaklings the Earthlings should be the ones dealing with them not Goku and Vegeta.

well you have to keep in mind that they are wolves. each character's design is limited to what they are. you can't have a wolf character designed like a frog mutant. and i'm not sure any of the fighters in the ToP are weak. the fighters are simply at different tiers than each other. the rules of the ToP serve to help balance, or intertwine those tiers.

I feel it makes sense to destroy them immediately. After all at that point all of the people they love and their whole universe are gone. I don't see them just patiently waiting on the bleachers for their end. There would be a riot.

I hope the fighters survive, they are the best of the best and Dragonball is about fighting those very type of guys, universe dosen't matter when you got the treasure in your own box..
Transferring them all to universe 7 now that it's empty to the point of embarrassment would make up for the mortal levl problems

I love the "Trio de dangers" (great name)! So far, they're probably my favorite non-U7 group in the tournament. That and the fact that Basil the kicker (the Hitmonlee of DB) was doing so well in the last episode make it kinda sad that U9 doesn't have much time left in the TOP.

Although to be honest I don't think they're really erased for good, so I'm not so sure this episode was the last we'll see of them forever.

While I never really cared for them, I did feel sad when I watched them just laying there before getting erased. They just wanted to live.

I'm sure they'll get revived, but doesn't change the fact that it's sad!

Looks like they didn't go out in glory, unfortunately. Even if they cornered Goku and Vegeta at certain moments, they weren't taken very seriously and could have been kicked out at any moment. I wish Bergamo had a better showing, considering Goku wanted a rematch and Bergamo wasn't using his own full power during their first fight, according to Goku.

I will miss them.

I think they still had some great moments in the episode. Their triangle power was great and they lasted the whole ep to the end.
