Ssj4 Vs. Ssj4: Did GT or Daima do it Better ?
Re: Ssj4 Vs. Ssj4: Did GT or Daima do it Better ?
Gokuu could have literally just said in the first episode that he was close to making a new form combat ready, too.

I feel like I prefer GT's design purely down to the colours, but I like Daima's design as it feels like it looks a lot more 'Goku'. I probably can't explain or justify this opinion, but that's just how my feelings land right now.

Crying wasn't the only reason why Goku regained sense of himself. It took Pan going up to Goku, speaking to him and then seeing of a photo with his friends and family at the beach. Crying was just the final step.Zebra wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 6:39 pm I prefer the design in GT (no goofy giant hands or forearms), but I prefer the way Gokuu transformed in Daima. GT was cornier due to Pan's crying; Daima is refreshingly straight to the point.
Did Yamcha and the others help Goku gain control of his Oozaru form? No. Their solution was to cut his tail or blow the moon up.
Pan was weak, yet she was brave enough to go up to Goku and reason with him. No one else was brave like Pan.

It's interesting because Goku or Vegeta theoretically could've achieved SS4 much sooner if they kept their tails to begin with.
The only requirements seem to be gaining control of the Golden Ape form. As far as we know, GT Vegeta never achieved SS3 but was still able to go SS4. He always had control of his Great Ape form, so in theory he could've gone SS4 as early as the Androids.
I remember there being an old theory that a Saiyan couldn't go Super Saiyan without losing their tail beforehand. If this were true then Goku going SS4 should technically be impossible, but is made possible through his unnatural tail regrowth.

I have no problem if you believe it was corny.Zebra wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 11:15 pmI don't care.
