Favorite Episode?

Vegeta's first death on Namek. don't remember what episode was it -in the original DBZ japanese dub- but this is probably my favorite out of all the Dragon Ball franchise!

Don't get me wrong, some of the japanese tracks were awesome. I loved the opening and ending themes, Gohan transforming into SSJ2, and the 'Bum bum bum!". But like someone just said, a lot of the tracks were...just damn annoying! I liked how the movies and features used real rock bands.

The only DBZ movies I'd say the rock music fits are Movie 8 and Movie 5.

The rock music used for Movie 5 definitely fit more than Kikuchi's score.

That's pretty damn tough. One I love to death though is Union of Rivals (Funimation title), the second half of it. Goku and Vegeta fighting Super Buu (Gohan Absorbed) with the beautiful Seigasha animation is a sure win for me.

It's pretty crazy that there's threads a decade old... Makes you think if all these threads will still be around by 2024. Who know's what dragonball will be by then..


Any ways.... Haha I really liked that episode of Goku finally defeating Buu or Gohan beating Cell. I really loved the end of the build up and struggle of those villains. I also really like the episode Yajirobe slices Vegeta on the back, I was laughing so hard when I first saw that, and it instantly became a favorite.

The episode where Trunks shows up and kills Freeza. It's just perfectly paced, the animation is great for DBZ, the music is fantastic and pretty much everything is executed perfectly.

Well, we're really strict about not necroposting, especially in threads that 10 years old. A few weeks or a month or two is fine, but that's about it. I'm gonna let this slide since so many people have replied before we caught it (the majority of us have been out of town at graduations), but in the future, this type of activity will be locked immediately.

What's your favorite episode throughout all three series?

I'm thinking about mine. Dunno yet.

In DB it has to be one of the episodes where Goku fights Piccolo Daimaioh.
In DBZ it used to be the episode where Gotenks fought Boo in the Room of Spirit and Time and one of the Vegetto vs. Super Boo episodes were rather rad.
In DBGT it's Bebi vs Oob.
