That trailer was really dark. As in, I had to adjust my monitor settings to be able to see anything other than the fire in the "campfire" scene. So, considering the primary thing different here was the CG effects, I may have missed a few things...
I did notice that Piccolo's "Little Boy" attack had a new swirly charge up effect, though they actually cut the explosion that everyone loved so much by several seconds...
The Dragonballs have much more active stars. Not a very necessary change but I'm sure people who are actually satisfied with the movie will appreciate it.
And Roshi's "Ma Fu Ba" (assuming that's what that particular scene was in the first place) is yellow-ish now. Strange that they'd get it right and then... change it to wrong.

I liked the added mountains in the background with Piccolo's airship.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

The "We'll go" part of that one line sounds a bit different, I noticed.

Wow you are such a dick head.
And yes, those Buus are different, not only in appearance but strength.

It's possible that neither are the final scene. Trailers are always like that.
Also maybe the green one is right, but they didn't want to spoil it for American fans or something. I have no idea.

Continuing with my 'the people who make the trailers don't know what they're doing' theme, it's possible that the attack is meant to be green but was colored yellow at some point earlier, and they just decided, 'hey this yellow version looks better, let's use it in the trailer'. Keep in mind the people making the trailer are only doing so to attract an audience, they don't care if something's wrong so long as they think it looks good.

I agree, I always thought Buu's head was quite phallic, especially the way it gets longer as he powers up and-

I know what you mean. At my school we just passively aggressively assaulted someone until they developed social disorders. That's British schools for you.

Why they would choose to hide him (if he is in there that is) is an easy one; the people who make trailers
suck. They always have. Either the trailer gives away all the good bits of the film or they rearrange scenes and take things out of context to make the film seem like something it's not, because they seem to think they know what will attract an audience. Which seems to mean being as generic as possible.
Like adding that "I'm not ready for this" line, if it really isn't in the finished script. I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't, marketing always pulls stuff like this.
I remember in the trailer for "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", the narrator talked about how there would be "lots of explosions, and of course, a girl in a bikini", and the footage in the trailer corresponded with this. But those images never made it into the final movie. I could only imagine how often trailers do this, but it still leaves us to wonder if that line will even be in the movie, let alone the context of it. Maybe he'll be referring to an exam he didn't study for because he was too busy training (that's either really good or really bad for us Dragon Ball fans when you think about it).
I remember someone saying that Master Roshi's line to Goku ("You are the only one who can do it"), was actually edited to be that for the trailer and that in the actual movie, he's actually saying "I'M the only who can do it" (in reference to sealing Piccolo away with the Mafuba/Evil Containment Wave) and he's talking to Yamcha. I watched the trailer again and noticed a slight, I dunno, it sounded like an audio/edit cut when Roshi delivered that line (I didn't noticed that the first gazillion times I saw the trailer). So who knows what we'll truly be presented with when the film comes out?
Oh, did anyone notice that the line "We'll go, but we go together" was delivered with a little more emotion this time around?

Why do I get the vibe that people just hate the movie so much that every time this guy posts something new he's going to be attacked just for sharing more (good or bad) info?

If anything, this trailer got me to draw a picture of Vegeta dressed as one of the ancient Greek gods, and I'm pretty pleased with said drawing.
Also, I'm learning things about how the movie industry functions.

I might just chalk that one up to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy's type of humor. But who knows.

Probably because most people wanted Dragon Ball but got Dragon Ball: Evolution instead. So even though they hate the movie/Don't plan on seeing it/Are totally apathetic to it, they still have every right to voice their opinion on it. Or something like that.
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

I've just recently started reading the books, and that does sound pretty par for their course right there.

It surprises me really. I thought the movie lost a lot of the humor the books had, but it seems the trailer might have managed to keep a bit of it, if it really was intentional. Weird.
