I know it isn't really relevant, but damn that animation is really bad and the official artwork is really unimpressive, too (who's doing the artwork for the games, anyway? I don't like their style at all). I liked this shot, though:
Still disappointed with the roster.

As am I, but I'm still hoping that with the roster available and Extreme Butouden is still a very competent DBZ beat em up.Doctor. wrote:Still disappointed with the roster.

Haven't we already gotten these in GT? Goku dies, the DBs go away, and the Namekian DBs most likely won't be used again because of the Evil Dragons.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Anyway to play this on a US New 3DS XL? Or should I just bust out my regular 3DS XL and use that with the internet browser exploit?

The support characters have proper character select icons now, which I love. Just wish they had nice, clean PNG arts like the playables though.

Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

I think they fixed that with the new updates. Really trying to get around finding a JPN 3DS for one game. I might just have the skip it like with the Wii U. I'd love to play Smash on it... but then what?ShadowDude112 wrote:Anyway to play this on a US New 3DS XL? Or should I just bust out my regular 3DS XL and use that with the internet browser exploit?

You can also use a Gateway 3DS flashcart to dump the ROM from the Japanese cartridge and play it from an SD card.

Look what was rated by ACB: http://www.classification.gov.au/Pages/ ... Slj9wUGFA6

I just hope it's not a fucking digital only release.

If Australia is getting it then there's a good chance that a American release is possible.

My money is on it being show in Nintendo's typical third party reel at E3, other small games and localization have been announced in them before.Hellspawn28 wrote:If Australia is getting it then there's a good chance that a American release is possible.

Just checked the ESRB website to see if it got rated like in Australia. Nothing. Only time will tell.

The ESRB is typically better about keeping secrets, they also don't rate games till closer to release, so the game might just not be coming out for a bit.ShadowDude112 wrote:Just checked the ESRB website to see if it got rated like in Australia. Nothing. Only time will tell.

Not necessarily. Europe frequently gets English 3DS releases that the US doesn't get, but they are usually subtitle only.Hellspawn28 wrote:If Australia is getting it then there's a good chance that a American release is possible.
You guys saw my post, though, right? You can play Japanese 3DS games through several different methods, so no worries

I still there's a 75% chance that this game can still get a US release given how DB's popularity has grown in the past year in the US now. There's a bigger market for DBZ now then there was in the last decade.

It's a fighting game, though, not an RPG, so you can easily play without knowing Japanese, I've played the demo with no problem, it only took a minute to figure the menus out. And I'm sure shonengamez.com will translate the menusZombie wrote:No worries? Many of us don't know Japanese....UpFromTheSkies wrote:Not necessarily. Re: Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden (3DS)
But how many casual Dragon Ball fans would have a 3DS in the first place? That's the golden question.Hellspawn28 wrote:I still there's a 75% chance that this game can still get a US release given how DB's popularity has grown in the past year in the US now.
