It starts tomorrow on Cartoon Network. This should help: http://www.adultswim.com/videos/schedule/

Now I'm just waiting for them to air Jojo's part 3... Grumble grumble...

Dragon Ball Super has an image on AT&T uverse's Guide but I'm not gonna bother posting It because it's literally just the title in a plain white font against a black background.

I'm assuming it's a placeholder provided by AdultSwim, cause I've seen them use similar things before for VOD services

Six and a half for me. Still, that's 7:00 ET, when it should be 8:00.

Well, for me, I'm in the Central Time Zone, so it would be 7:00 pm then.

Still, it does specifically say "8 PM ET / 7 PM CT", while displaying less than 6½ hours, oddly.

Episode 1 - A Peacetime Reward: Who Gets The 100,000,000 Zeni? notes

Part A:

-The opening is left in Japanese and is shortened
-So nice hearing Doc Morgan as the narrator again. It was weird hearing him say "Last time on Dragon Ball Z" instead of "Last time on Dragon Ball Z Kai" though
-The title card font is the same font as Kai
-Sean Schemmel & Kara Edwards sound just as good as ever as Goku & Goten
-Cynthia Cranz's Chi-Chi sounds a little different
-Jason Douglas & Ian Sinclair are always a pleasure to hear as Beerus & Whis
-The same can be said for Chris Rager as Mr. Satan
-I do wish Boo had been recasted.
-Kara Edwards & Kyle Hebert appropriately make Videl & Gohan sound older
-Alexis Tipton is a great replacement for Laura Bailey as Trunks. There isn't that much of a difference in her voice compared to Laura's.
-Eyecatches are cut.

Part B:

-Monica Rial still sounds awesome as Bulma
-The fight with Goten/Trunks & the snake was handled well
-There are moments where Alexis sounds exactly like Laura. Chris Sabat did well in casting her as Trunks.
-Chi-Chi sounds normal in this part
-Mike McFarland's Roshi is hilarious as ever.
-Kent Williams as Kibito Kai is still great if a bit deeper
-The ED is left in Japanese and is shortened too
-The Next Episode Preview is cut.

Feels weird having to watch from the beginning again since we know what's gonna happen.

I wonder why they cut the preview in favor of more commercials??

...That was such an awkward cut to the ending song; they made it fade out at the last second before the chorus, lol. I do hope they dub the songs for the DVDs, but I hear there's a thing now about FUNi not dubbing songs in their shows? Which is a shame, since even if we did get Kuu-Zen-Zetsu-Go for the Kai dub, it'd still be undubbed.

Everyone sounds pretty good, though, and I'm glad they stuck with Doc Morgan as the narrator after he rocked in Kai. Beerus and Whis are still fun to listen to, and for Tipton being a replacement to Bailey, I barely noticed a difference. I left off at the Universe 6 arc during my first watchthrough, so I'm looking forward to keeping up with this dub. Especially since I won't need to deal with hella weird fansubs while watching it, lol.

I love how they left the original Japanese intro and outro, but I HATE how they cut them in half. Especially the ending credits, they were cut down to nothing. :x

Am I wrong for enjoying this episode in English more than most of Super in Japanese?

I guess they couldn't get something worked out with Mark for the OP after all. That's a shame. I love his version.

To be fair most of us already knew what was going to happen during the first 2 arcs even when it aired in Japan.

Also wtf why did they cut the NEP nicktoons even kept them when they broadcasted Kai.

Also the "last time on Dragon Ball Z" line was just weird.

Not at all. The current FUNi dub cast for Dragon Ball is really damn good.
