Yes, there was a lot of what the kids are calling 'sideboob' these days.

I'm assuming she was wearing something that actually kept them in place, though, since she walked around a lot and it wasn't obscene. I actually liked her outfit more than most because it was kind of clever... and despite the fact that it's obviously meant to be sexy, her butt and bosom weren't the focus like most of the other girls they shamelessly carted out this year.

UPDATE! DBZ Kinect gameplay from E32012, EXCLUSIVE to Kanzenshuu... or something:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA2L8iko9ac

It's a couple raw matches without editing, and it gives a good impression of how the game plays I think. I have to say as scripted as it is, it felt pretty fun to do Kamehamehas and Makankosappos and other hard to spell stuff.

Also, while I played it, the funniest thing happened... I literally did not spend enough time charging the Makankosappo to fire it and had to charge s'more. Show accurate gameplay!!

Now I have two reasons to be interested in this thread; to see who the "secret" character will turn out to be (SS Bardock or Chilled?), and to see a Goku-maid's sideboob! xD

Don't they usually treat transformations as separate characters? They said that we will get 1 exclusive character. So we are getting either Super Saiyan Bardock or Chilled?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Vejita got his S. Saiyan 3 form separated from his other ones and Broli too on the Raging Blast series, iirc.

Whether it's Bardock SSJ or Chilled I just hope their ultimate attack will be something spectacular unlike Tarble's on RB2. :|

Not even big-ass Chichis can hide the inherent shittyness that the Kinect game reeks of thus far. Plus they don't bounce.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Episode of Bardock confirmed for DBZ for Kinect via Japan Expo live stream. You can play as Super Saiyan Bardock.

New Trailer
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Eh, what about Lord Chilled?

Dragon Ball Z For Kinect is looking pretty good, I might consider getting it, but Namco Bandai please release a demo!

I bet a lot of people saw SSJ Bardock and Episode of Bardock inclusion coming. Now we'll have to see if it will be dubbed or just have subtitles like PtESS.

AS the main site says, we all knew it would be Episode of Bardock when the rating revealed the game would include a 20 minute animation months ago. The special character was up for debate though. We weren't sure if it would be SS Bardock or Chilled, though I think we leaned toward Bardock because that would be less work. lol

PR:
DRAGON BALL Z FOR KINECT™ to feature exclusive playable character and European anime episode

July 5, 2012

NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe announces ‘Bardock Episode’ anime content and first ever playable Bardock Super Saiyan coming to Kinect™ on October 5th

In a blizzard of unbeatable Bardock brilliance, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe today announced that Dragon Ball Z For Kinect™ will feature a double dose of thrilling exclusive content. The game will include the “Episode of Bardock”, an episode of the anime that has never previously been available in Europe. Dragon Ball Z For Kinect will also feature Bardock Super Saiyan as a playable character for the first time ever in the history of Dragon Ball video games.

Coming to Xbox 360® on October 5th, Dragon Ball Z For Kinect features all the classic action and intensity of the Dragon Ball Z universe, but with the unprecedented sense of immersion that only Kinect can deliver. With their very own fists, players will be able to unleash over 100 moves on their enemies, including the legendary Kamehameha, as they battle their way to victory in this ultimate evolution of the unstoppable franchise.

Developed by Spike Chunsoft Co. Ltd, Dragon Ball Z For Kinect is loaded with epic battles, famous attacks, and over 50 iconic characters authentically recreated from the original manga series. Dragon Ball Z For Kinect lets players unleash the full might of their inner Super Saiyan with no controller in the way.

Making full use of the Kinect sensor, Dragon Ball Z For Kinect will also support QR code functionality, allowing fans to hold up and scan special QR codes to unlock characters and power-ups in the game.

With ‘Story Mode’ and ‘Score Attack’ modes to choose from, players will experience the legendary story, battles and events of the Dragon Ball universe from a first-person perspective for the first time ever. The game’s dramatic fights use anime-style camerawork, with success depending on the player accurately recreating their character’s moves and attacks from key moments in the anime. The combination of CG cut scenes and unique controls lets players experience giant boss battles like never before, while the ‘Score Attack’ mode pits opponents against each other in ferocious 1-on-1 battles to decide the ultimate victor.

Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will blast its way into Europe on October 5th, 2012.

So sad they reduced SSj Bardock to this...
They should AT LEAST add him in the HD collection as an extra as well.
I really don't want to get a bad game just for one character fans have been asking for, for years...

I'm thinking it might actually be dubbed for once. In the new trailer, there wasn't any subtitles when they were showing Episode of Bardock.

Fans have been asking for Super Saiyan Bardock for years? It's more of a recent thing actually.

And please, give the game a try before judging it from screens and videos, it's usually a bad way of reviewing a product.

Resident Evil 6 demo was rubbish but I'm sure the full game's great.

It's based on Ultimate Blast but uses the player's body for the commands.

So, no, I didn't play this game, yet.
