Please elaborate as I do not know what you mean by "pushing Vegeta's destruction"
He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke

Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

That Goku and Chichi wedding piece, I love it! And fogdark, I would totally wear that shirt.
Part one of my DB fan comic is fully sketched out! Here's a preview pinup for the first chapter, Tank Girl Bulma!
The comic is not a Tank girl x Dragon Ball crossover. I just always wanted to draw this. And considering the setting of the story, it only seems fitting
N°1, FILTERED PICTURE, PAINT OVER THE SAIYAN AND HIS SHADOW. - N°2, PAINT ADDED TO THE ROOFTOP'S CRACKS. N°3, PAINT ADDED TO THE ROOFTOP. - N°4, PAINT ADDED TO THE LANDSCAPE IN THE DISTANCE. ORIGINAL SCAN OF MY DRAWING, WITH ORIGINAL LINES AND SHADING,
BEFORE ANY FILTER WAS APPLIED (EXCEPT FOR DARKENED SAIYAN HAIR).
I tried to make my own drawing using a template for perspectives (cause I'm no good at perspectives, so having a template is my only way not to ruin my drawings), but... let's say some things are really horrible and look terribly unnatural!!
I filtered the scan of my drawing with GIMP to remove the original details and keep only simple lines (which were broken in the process) so that it would look closer to the cut-to-the-chase manga style (simple lines and only black and white... though my result reminds me of some storyboard picture more than anything else).
But I ended up not knowing if it was better to add extra grey areas, if it would make it clearer or make it lose quality. So being unsure about doing the right thing or deteriorating it all, I saved each version.
I also kept the unfiltered original scan because some people might think that my original drawing would have been better off without any filtering.
Spoiler:
PICTURE 1 - After filtering to keep only the most important lines and details (whiting out the rest), My initial intention was to only apply black painted areas to the Saiyan, so as to mimic Toriyama's very clear "all white or all black, but never grey" style. But I ended up wanting to make the shadow clear and somehow went against my initial will not to use grey.
PICTURE 2 - I blackened the cracks on the rooftop, still keen on the fact that the Saiyan's shadow would be the only grey part. It seemed to me that it added to the sense that the rooftop was really badly damaged and not supposed to be safe despite the Saiyan's laidback stance, with the cracks looking deeper and sharper if they are pitch black. But some part of me also thinks that those "black bars" look weird, so I kept the previous version.
PICTURE 3 - Still wanted to try what it would be like quickly adding grey areas, so keeping my previous versions, I made the rooftop grey. The bad thing is that while plain white and plain black look good and not overly simplistic, a large same-grey area might not look that good.
PICTURE 4 - Still testing, I made the distant landscape a brighter grey, to convey the sense of distance from the rooftop and make a difference with the white sky.
ORIGINAL - The original scan of the drawing, with the watermark shading leftover and the very same unfiltered lines that I drew with my black pen. The only thing I changed compared to the scan was darkening the Saiyan's hair.
I don't know if it's supposed to be Goku, Goten growing-up, or even one of their descendents.
I also feel like I missed an opportunity to add something to fill the horizon, like the sun.
Finally, I'm not sure which picture looks best to viewers (or "is the least of five evils") and which "style" would be the right one to hold on to if there had to be one...
I think they can't match to the gorgeous digitally-enhanced fan arts we see around these days, mine really looks like it's been just drawn on a sheet of paper with a pen, which is not that impressive or charming when we're more and more used to see fanarts that look professional! It lacks refinement AND expertise, but it gives an idea of the drawings I would do if I was as skilled as some other guys able to make professional drawings!
EDIT: Vegeta looks decent to me for my level (but what a big nose!), but I completely screwed up about Bulma's proportions, face and body (head, shoulders, position of the chest, you can even see some of my desperate attempts to correct some proportions on the drawing)! And Vegeta seems very tall. Oh well... Bulma lost her hot body, she'd be quite mad about how she became!
