I would watch the hell out of that movie. In fact, I think a manga spinoff of saiyaman's adventures would be amazing because Toriyama is great at handling loser/dorky characters, and he could stuff all the nonsense he loves in it!

A friend of mine had actually been in the process of writing and drawing her own Great Saiyaman dōjinshi, but she lost interest after only a few chapters a few months back. I am now very tempted to pick up where she left off.

Actually Saiyaman no Fukkatsu is what makes more sense.

I wonder if we'll get any substantial, new back-story on Freeza in this film. BOG kind of expanded upon the Saiyans' back-story, so it wouldn't surprise me if we see something similar this time around.

If I had to guess, those glimpses of Freeza emerging from a medical machine(?) are part of a flashback.

I was hoping (kind of still am, it's not Saturday yet) there'd be more F info in this month's issue, but maybe they're saving it for Jump Festa?

It would be interesting for a flashback to detail other members of Freeza's race, of which he and his father were revealed by Toriyama-sensei to be abnormally powerful and cruel mutants.

While I'm pretty sure I'd be in the vast minority here, I think it would actually be pretty interesting to see a movie animated based on Toriyama's current art style.

I wouldn't mind. I would love to see a DB movie that isn't in Yamamuro's art style, honestly. I feel like we're never gonna move on from him.

I bet if someone else got the reins, you might see one that looks closer to Toriyama's art style, past or present.

I'd personally love more designs that utilize such a standpoint, given how kawaii as frick powerful beyond belief SSJG Son Gokū turned out to be.

It also looks like they address him not being "Mystic" anymore and transforming into a Super Saiyan instead. Anybody have a translation of that little blurb?

It's just commenting on how he had pointy hair in BoG, and became Great Saiyaman.
