I'm very excited about hanging out in the hub. I love the MMO elements and wandering around in the city with a bunch of active players sounds really fun. Getting a team together and heading towards a tough mission sounds great! I hope eventually Xenoverse makes the story mode co-op a la destiny. Like going into a mission solo but randomly running into other players. Hope to see that in XV3.

That would be a great concept and it can be done. I can see them heading that direction with how much focus they put into the city this time around and even the 6 on 1 battles they added.

I wish Conton itself could be a stage (Maybe around the center bit). As I'm still learning game design I don't really know how hard it would be to make it so, though modders back in XV 1 were able to change Toki-Toki and the time nest into a stage, so it seems possiable.

Probably those were already staged that weren't playable though. Remember Trunks test?

Oh yeah... Though it is strange that they go through the trouble of making those stages only to use it once.

I wanted an intro, just not with a different version of the same song that we've had for several games prior to play again.

I don't like the new intro, it's boring for me.

That's what happens when you have to dub from a direct English translation. You don't have the freedom to re-write the script to have the English voices match the movements of the lips of the characters you're dubbing over. Hence, you get shitty lip syncing.

You could, but it's not worth the time and effort altering the original footage. It looks poor, but that's a sacrifice I'll take if I were watching it in English.

More exploration of Conton city and a glance at Frieza's spaceship
I wonder what time rift events are, could be related to the areas enveloped in rifts... Seems that you can get different quests depending on your race.

Also, liking the new music, though I swear it's ripped straight out of Sonic Generations

I'm certainly quite surprised that there was no opening music at all, but I'm glad that they didn't re-use Cha La Head Cha La. Just let that song rest already.

Which is a shame because Soul Caliber 4 had the same issue and either one of the devs or the director was quite upset that there was no proper syncing for the game. They rectified that with Soul Caliber 5 and everyone had perfect syncing for both dubs.

I personally like the intro because it's an actual intro to what is going on in the game. No fantasy fights, no Cha-La for the 10th time and although the lip sync was bad it's only worth watching once anyways so it's easy to pass over. Can't wait to skip this and dive right into some Goku Black action.
