If we are redoing BOG, decided to hope for Shida-made ssjg Gokû transformation sequence. :3

Having Shida do a BANK animation that could be reused would be nice. It would make things easier for the episode directors if they could save drawings through re-using transformations.

I'm up for that. I like BANK animation. I really like Shida's Flora one.

The two extar Dragon Balls could be a good idea, but end up turning out horribly. Both DBZ and GT did introduced new Dragon Balls like the Namek Dragon Balls and the Black Star Dragon Balls. I hope the 7+ star Dragon Balls are explain on why they exist unlike in GT with the Black Star Dragon Balls.

Even if it's a set from another universe just to bail out anyone who dies there, we have Whis' time thing too.

I specially like the image of Goku grabbing Goten and the tractor. Is just... something so different from what we are used to... you know, they are either just standing around or fighting.

Did... did Goku just imagined himself obliterating Freeza's head/upper torso with that punch? I... oh, wow... I would honestly like to see more of his mind at work.

That makes 4 sets in the entire franchise. Kami's set, Nanek's set, GT's set, and now 9 balls set? Maybe there's a Namek on another universe. Unless Whis made it 0_0.

But if these DBs are helpful then I'm going be sadden because with the addition of Whis time control. The heroes can never truly lose.

I don't see the point of retelling the events of BOG and ROF in Super? It just makes the other two films feel pointless if you ask me. Why bother to make new films are set into the timeline of the series if you are just going to retell them in the new show? I guess DB Movies 1-4, DBZ Movies 1-13 and BOG & ROF are all just AU films now.

Yea, I wouldn't mind these DBs actually having a negative side-effect. Be careful for what you wish kind of thing.

The continuity had nothing to do with the strengths or weaknesses of those films. What made them enjoyable was the dialogue, the music, the performances of the actors, the directing, the animation, and the sound effects.

People wanted Super to take place before EoZ; now they're disappointed because it's retreading old ground. LOL.

True, but at the same time they feel redundant if Super is going to ignore and retell them from start. Why bother making the last two films if they are just going to retell them in a new show? I know that this is not common since DB Movies 1-4 and Evolution are retelling of the manga, but I feel like it's a different case with BOG and ROF. ROF just came out earlier this year in theaters and BOG is still very fresh in many people's minds.

I'm so happy that Toriyama is exploring different roles and hobbies for Goku to do other than just fighting and training. It really is a breath of fresh air.

(The one where 18 and 17 reach his home and kill everyone while Gokû's having an out of body experience, the one in the Freeza arc where he passes out underwater and the earth is in fiery ruins because of Freeza and he's either calling out for his family or they're calling for him).

Hoping this isn't old news, apparently the series is having at least 100 episodes and supposely it happens after BoG and RoF (so I'm guessing the stuff from the manga and all will be a couple episodes before and in-between the films?).
