It's easily missible when you consider Black is pretty much just Turles in a black colored gi, and Turles is just a darker-skinned Goku in Saiyan Armor. And Bardock is just Goku with a scar and bandanna. This is really the problem with a series pretty much using the exact same character model for multiple characters. I wouldn't be surprised if Black didn't have the one potara earring because it doesn't exist on any of the other Goku models being copy/pasted as the base for each of these other characters.

However I'm VERY happy to see they did change his eyes and make sure his build is skinny. I was really afraid of them botching it.

It would be pretty hard to screw up his build considering they still have a body model for SSJG Goku from the first game to use.

Agreed because Goku already looks huge in the game I was worried he would have that same bulky look too. I think that is why I looked at the picture like 5 times already to make sure I was seeing right.

Really? Even Nozawa managed to make Black and Goku sound distinctive from one another. I wonder what direction he'll take with Black.

The same thing Nozawa did: change of tone and inflection. SSJ4 Gokuu's voice really is just applying grit while Black has a arrogant, condescending tone to it. I can see Sean executing it very well!

So... how is the combo system like now?

Like... is there actual mix-ups, priority, rushdown and shit rather than a mostly footsies/turtling neutral game?

Are regular ki blasts actually useful now?

you can kind of mix and match combos now. Ki blast are more like in Raging Blast 1 where they stun and leave your opponent where they are so they can be used for combos. Running away is pretty impossible with the new burst dash that automatically homes in on your opponent and delivers a hit. Not sure if it can be blocked. I've seen a few videos of cancels and while I don't understand all your fighting game terminology, with the new stamina break move you can drain all their stamina and combo to your hearts content until you regain it.
