Yeah, Kaio should've been revived with the rest of Cell's victims... Did he even have a halo during the Boo arc?Insertclevername wrote:He doesn't have a halo though, so I assume he isn't dead now.Hellspawn28 wrote:King Kai will likely be erase from existence if he dies again. He's supposed to be dead, I just did some research. He declined to be revived to "keep Goku company" or something. I just watched the BoG trailer again, and perhaps it's possible the Halo is just out of the frame?

But wasn't that an error because he's already up where Other World is.

But he was fully alive when he was living there until Cell blew up.Majin Steve wrote:But wasn't that an error because he's already up where Other World is.

I dunno I remember reading somewhere DBKai corrected that whole situation of King Kai not asking to be revived, because he's already up there anyway. Maybe Toriyami made that mistake, not sure.

One can live in the Other World and not be dead. Kaio-sama wasn´t dead until Cell´s explosion killed him.Majin Steve wrote:I dunno I remember reading somewhere DBKai corrected that whole situation of King Kai not asking to be revived, because he's already up there anyway. That makes me think of that brief filler scene. The one where Kaio shows off instant transmission.kaialone wrote:One can live in the Other World and not be dead. In hindsight, that was hilarious.

Yeah I know but I got the feeling him living there and being a deity he could go about Other World as he pleased anyway. So maybe it was Toriyama who made the mistake of having him refuse resurrection just so he could be with Goku there. I read DBKai fixed that, can anyone verify this?kaialone wrote:One can live in the Other World and not be dead. Toriyama doesn't make mistake like that. It's what Toriyama decided. Goku and Kaio-sama opted to stay dead.Majin Steve wrote:I dunno I remember reading somewhere DBKai corrected that whole situation of King Kai not asking to be revived, because he's already up there anyway. I'm rusty on my filler scenes, but as I recall that was a bit of dub revisioning. Originally Kaio is just...zipping around in a comical way or something, rather than doing Yardratian style teleportation.Sinestro wrote:That makes me think of that brief filler scene. Anyways, Goku does indeed say that Kaio could have been revived by the wish to bring back Cell's victims, but that he opted to stay dead so that he could keep Goku company. It's not clear why he would need to be dead to keep Goku company when he already hung out in the afterlife while alive, but whatever.

Or maybe to make the situation a bit humorous, Toriyama made a god of North Galaxy stay dead in the afterlife when a god should really be alive.

He was made alive in Kai though and in this film apparently so sounds like a double retcon.DragonBalllKaiHD wrote:Toriyama doesn't make mistake like that. It's what Toriyama decided. Well, if he was alive, I guess he would have to stay in his little planet doing his job (or a replacement of it), and by being dead, he can keep Goku company and go everywhere in the Other World...
After Goku returned to the living world, maybe they (Kaio-shin?) gave him his planet again and life...?

Maybe Krillin is turned into a child then.

I know people like to point out errors or nitpick certain things. That's fine, I guess. But, I think you're looking too deeply into some things...keikuro wrote:Hi!

I don't think it's an error that The God of Destruction's ears look a little different in the poster than in the actual movie. And Videl's hair? What's wrong with it? Cause it's not AS pointy? If you compared promotional artwork to screen shots from the anime, you would have a feild day, especially on those bad animation days!
