But without Kaioshin, Gohan wouldn't have to rely on Elder Kaioshin's mystic power up therefore it's his fault Gohan got permanent brain damage which ruined his vision.

I want to my lord, but the last semi relevant thing they let him do was coach Goten and Trunks in the OVA. Which was a surprising choice to have Gohan be the one to give fighting advice. The second one being possible fans getting the Ultimate state in Battle of Gods. Which is debatable.
